What if Manchester United Never had Sir Matt Busby?
« on: February 6, 2011, 04:10:06 pm »
While we're remembering the Munich disaster. A thought occurred to me, what if we'd kept Sir Matt? Would Manchester Utd be such a big club now? Sir Matt would have followed Shankly as our manager. Would he have been a success?
Goodbye & thank you Rafa. You've given us more than we ever had a right to expect from you and you stayed loyal and fought for us even when some of our own turned on you. I truly hope that you find somewhere with the support that you deserve & win everything in sight.

Impossible to tell. Yes.
You change all the lead, sleeping in my head, as the day grows dim, I hear you sing a golden hymn.

There's a parallel universe in which this scenario exists.

Fuck knows which one though.
