Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Appreciation/Discussion Thread
« on: June 14, 2011, 11:27:13 pm »
Just watched the The Rocks DVD 'Most Electfying Man In Sports Entertainment'
The guy was absolute legend when he was in the WWE, the guy cut a better promo than anyone ever else in the history of pro wrestling. Always ranked him above Austin, just a personal preference.
Very much looking forward to him laying the smackdown on Cena next year.
Then throw in the fact has movies are pretty awesome, makes him even more of a freaking legend.
I'll show my balls on RAWK if this transfer (Mata To Liverpool) happens.
Quote me on it.

A true sporting hero, the way he can raise his eyebrow is pure class. I also like the way that not only is he the colour of mahogany, he also acts wooden. Genius.

I don't know what to make of The Rock anymore. I was never his biggest fan to begin with and the way in which he left WWE and didn't pop back for seven years  ::) I must confess I stopped watchin' when Austin left so it didn't bother me but regardless I think twas pretty ridiculous why he didn't pop back in every now and then, even the way Austin did, once every blue moon. As for him skimmin' over his career with WWE/WWF when asked about it in interviews, astonishin'. Havin' said that, I always enjoyed watchin' The Rock as a youngster and his promos and catchphrases were unearthly.

I am now off to start a 'Stone Cold Steve Austin Appreciation/No Discussion Thread'  :wave
