Anyone ever been?

On a stag do next year and a few of us want to get to get to the match.

Tickets look cheap on the web site and the ground holds 74,000 so i dont see tickets being a problem.

Checked  the web site out but its all in German.
The Liverpool way!!!

Went over for the Liverpool pre-season friendly there a few years ago. The Stadium was impressive and I'm sure that you won't have a problem getting tickets. Berlin was great fun, lots of history and things to see and do. Try the Berliner Pilsner, that was something else. We was absolutely wrecked on the stuff but woke up in the mornings as if we hadn't touched a drop. Alright when drinking lots of the the stuff but as soon as you got out in the fresh air it hits you!
You'll have a great time.....

I also went there for a pre-season friendly way back in 1973! Steve Heighway scored one of the best goals I have ever seen. The stadium at that time was much the same as it had been for the famous 1936 Olympic Games but Germany has held two World Cups since then and the stadium has been completely modernised. Even though it was nearly forty years ago, it was a wonderful trip and I am sure Berlin remains a very interesting destination with much to keep the visitor occupied.

Berlin is a first class place. Went there myself for a stag a few weeks back. We didn't go to the football as it was in June (so end of the season). Enjoy it though, Berlin really is great.
