They have played Champions League fixtures in recent times but these games have taken place at Lens stadium or the Stadt in Paris. LFC supporters will be directed to the North East of the stadium. There will be several search/ticket check points. LFC fans will enter via gates 18 & 19, these are clearly marked ‘TRIBUNE VISITEURS’The stadium is oval shaped, there is an athletic track around the pitch, the Liverpool section has sector security fencing that runs from front to back and across the front, This fencing does reduce visibility somewhat but one can still see most of the playing area. The seats are set onto concrete and are made of heavy plastic all with backs. Only certain parts of the stadium are covered by a roof, this includes the section of where the main body of Liverpool fans will be situated.• Stadium opening timesIt is anticipated that the turnstiles will be open at 17.30hrs.• Security arrangements for entry – how many cordons and where? What actions expected at which cordon, eg ticket check, bag and body search?All Liverpool supporters, whether they have travelled on foot, by car or by coach, should and will be directed to parking area 6 situated at the North East side of the stadium. This will be the first check by security stewards in relation to possession of match tickets. This area is well fenced and secure and is for the sole use of visiting supporters. On reaching gates 18 and 19 a further ticket check and searching will take place. Then supporters will continue up a fenced-in walkway leading to the confines of the stadium you will pass the toilets and refreshment bar, both toilet areas are clean. Continue up a walkway leading to the rear of the designated sector that is actually situated in the South East corner of the ‘Honneur’ stand.• Transport away from the groundWe have been informed that Liverpool supporters will be held back in the stadium for about 30 minutes .No special provisions have been made in relation to supporters leaving the stadium.
