Moving it back to the Saturday would be VERY interesting, as Setanta already have a 5.30pm game picked for that day, and they wouldn't be able to have a Saturday lunchtime slot as that is sky's time even though they don't have a game for that time....

Meaning it could well be a 3pm if we get through in the carling cup!

Monday's just shit..........the wife spotted this and said straight away 'don't even think about taking our lad out of school for another half day this season'.............It takes us over four hours to get to the game and for night games we don't get home until at least 3am; meaning, the nine year old's falling asleep at his desk the next day.............I haven't got a problem with this but strangely enough, she has.........mums!

nah I think the 12:45 has been left free for this.

can be sure sky and setanta have some agreement in there in the case of it being moved.

Absolute madness moving the Derby to a Monday night. Brings back really bad memories of that game in 1999 when we lost 1-0 and Westerveld and Jeffers both got sent off for fighting.

It's better than a noon or 12.45pm KO on a Saturday by some distance.

Any reason why everyone is crying over it?

I've got a reason. I can't bloody well go on this day; good enough reason?

Read 'rumours' that Villa home will be a Sunday - not confirmed by Sky.  Was thinking it's been a while since a home game on Sat and after looking back it was Hull on 13 Dec.  If Villa is moved the next one scheduled for home on Sat is 11 April v Blackburn.  That's 4 months in between.

After Blackburn we've Arsenal, Newcastle and Spurs at home.  Spurs will be Sunday as it's the final game. Arsenal is likely to be moved to a Sunday.  Newcastle may be if as we all hope we're still in the title race.

So are Saturday homes now a thing of the past?  Fuckin disgrace.  Prob not so for overseas viewers but for match goers it's shit as Saturdays was always the day to go to the pub with match going mates etc.  Sunday games are shit as work looms large Monday.  And don't get me started on Mon nt games.
