It is not an injury concern at the moment. He didn't play a minute against Burnley. Also, good exercise to get in the rhythm to play midweek and weekend games which will help during CL game weeks.

That's the thing though. Would have thought Klopp would start him in the PL and rest him for our League Cup games, or whatever its called now.

Expected fewer changes. A real opportunity for a few players to prove themselves. We need good performances from Wijnaldum, Coutinho, AOC and Henderson in particular. Would like to see a quality performance from our defence.

I'd be over the moon with a good, inventive performance from Grujic tonight - doesn't have to be an 8 out of 10 or anything like that, but just something to hang your hat on a bit. Was really hoping for one of Woodburn, Ox etc or Coutinho to play in the middle tonight to bring a more vertical interest to the game than the one we have out might suggest.

Will be good to see Ox etc get a start wide, but most keen to see how Solanke gets on as am hoping he'll find a start up front in league games sooner rather than later.
