Begins in Dublin the week after the album I think it is - 23rd October I think, and then doing venues across the UK.  Should be announced next week I imagine but he has definitely said it starts in Dublin and I think that was the date.

Loving the new single - different.  Well, similar to The Importance Of Being Idle, but different than most Oasis.

The Video will be on Noels YouTUbe page in a couple of minutes

Can see this album being along the lines of TIOBI and POTQ which I'm pleased about

Saxophones, trumpets? Pretty interesting stuff. Sounds bit like The Kinks to me.

Overall a good catchy song I'd say.

Probably be the best thing for Noel going solo to be honest, let's face it he was the one with the talent.  Good stuff this song, looking forward to the album.

Pretty much the same vibe of the last few Oasis albums, but good. I liked the New Orleans second line swing to it, memories of The Kinks, no bad thing. I look forward to the whole album, I think we all know what to expect, but Noel is a great songwriter.

its ok but i'd say it was a predictable first single. like you can't help but compare it 'importance of being idle'. still a hell of a lot better than anything else on the radio

Still better than the shite Beady Eye churn out.

But the single is a slight anti-climax , the trumpets are not really necessary.I hope the album as a whole is much better.

EDIT : Have only listened to it twice , maybe its a grower.

I like this song, it sounds to me quite similar to 'The Importance of being idle' which was one of my favourite oasis songs so I like this. His singing has improved tenfold in the last few years whilst his brothers went in the opposite direction.

Great to have him back.

Agreed. Noel has gone higher whilst Liam has gone more nasal and without the capability to hold a note for a decent length of time anymore. Compare Defiantly Maybe Liam to now its actually quiet tragic.

Agreed. He started doing a bad, bad Lennon impression a while ago, he even curses his lips like him now when he's singing.
This is a great tune. I know people say it's 'Importance of Being Idle' but after listening to it twice, apart from the one bit of falsetto he does, it really isn't the same at all.

Having listened to it more since my first post maybe i was a bit hasty , still hope the album has more to offer though.

Planning on getting tickets for a gig if its just for the Oasis tracks he will play ,loved the Unplugged show he did for MTV.Bet they will be gone in minutes though.
