Have you watched the football on peacock on the PPV LIVE Events? It is 60fps and 5.1 sound. I've been watching the football on those ones, you just have to put up with Le Saux as co commentator

Watched first half on Portugeuse TV cause it looked very, very crisp

Froze early in the second half, then found Peacock. Was really pleased - great quality, 60fps is very noticable for sport. Was thinking watching it, us conceding goals aside, it's easily the best quality I've watched us in for a long time

Flawless here on Hub 5, I've found it's best to use the feed from the actual channel folder & not the ones some subs put in the events/PL folders.

W!z users - how do you go about finding the game when it's on?

Can't be arsed scrolling to each section/channel. Can you just search for 'Liverpool' and it browses the EPG?

There is a premier league official channel with each team listed (under UK channels of course), just select the home team......that's how I believe it's done with wiz and tvmate

UK | Premier League PPV -> UK: EPL Liverpool

That then lists all the channels which have the game on or just one channel?

That just does Liverpools home games, so just select West Ham as home channel if we're playing them away etc

It's a pain but let's face it, costs way less so worth a bit of hastle lol

As for CL games etc, just the usual TNT channel

Same as any IPTV,  use a decent client like ott navigator that willn search channel names, epg and show archive in one hit.

You tend to know which channels the game is on, if it's not on USA Network, it'll likely be on Peacock etc

What I've found is that whichever of the channels are showing our game, e.g. Peacock 3, our game will be on the same numbered channel for the other overseas channels that show the PL.

You can search for the game but that will depend on us being labelled as on as part of the EPG/Channel listings

IPTV smarters (Pro or otherwise) is absolutely awful.

OTT can be clunky to use at first but its a lot more reliable in terms of playback than smarters.

Ask them if they have tivimate, if they do then that's number 1 for UI, search, speed & just anything else you can name.

Been playing about with Tivimate and deliberating whether to pay for the Premium version.

Undoubtedly the slickest looking player I've used so far.

It's worth it. I used it for a year before switching to lifetime a few years back. No regrets, it's better than any of the apps my provider offers, it's the closest you'll get to an EPG experience as smooth as the likes of Sky.

Agreed, just took me ages to assign an epg to all the channels but well worth it especially as you can hide the ones you don't want.

Anyone have opinions on the best device to use for IPTV, or links to a good resource?  I have a Smart TV (LG), but think that limits things in terms of the players/EPGs.

Im currently paying Sly £70 a month for tv and broadband, i only have the sports package..

i used to have a dodgy sly box, about 6 years ago untill that stopped working, so eversince i have been paying for sly..

 just the thought of firestick and buffering puts me off, is IPTV any different?

I rarely have any issues with my service and would never go back to paying Sky or Virgin as long as IPTV is an option.

Can the registered devices on Tivimate be changed? I've got a lifetime sub for 5 devices and using 3 of them. But those 3 devices won't last forever or there will be upgrades

Yes you can cancel and existing device and add a new one.

I’m with a good IPTV provider, runs through an app called Wild Media and has a back up built in just in case the main one goes down. On demand movies and series are great too.

Happy to link anyone in, it’s £50 for 12 months and thought that was decent with the back up being part of it as well.
