Had 1 in my basket twice after 2pm sale began, both times it got removed. Absolute joke, same shite as before. Luckily managed to pick up one then and get transaction through a bit later

In fairness I think they did, there was a scramble at 13:55 to get tickets back in my basket as someone else mentioned above

For those arriving at Bordeaux airport the options for getting to the city centre are either taxi, shuttle or bus.

It is only a short distance to the centre of Bordeaux (12 kilometres), but because the road runs through a large part of the city, it takes at least 25 minutes to get there.

TAXI :
There are many taxi companies that can bring you to Bordeaux and other places. The average cost of a taxi ride for 4 in a taxi to Bordeaux city centre is €30.

SHUTTLE :
The shuttle operates a 30 minutes DIRECT connection (in normal traffic conditions) between Bordeaux Airport and St Jean Train Station, every day, all year round with departures on the hour and every hour !

Once you’ve arrived at Bordeaux Airport you will see a lot of advertising for Navette Aéroport: this shuttle service is slightly faster than the bus but much more expensive (€7.20). You can get the shuttle from outside HALL B exit 11.

New route: direct linkbetween Saint-Jean train station in the city centre and the airport via Bordeaux Centre and Mérignac Centre.

The line 1 serves the following sectors: Parc Kennedy, Mérignac Soleil, Mérignac Centre, Barrière Judaïque, Gambetta, Palais de Justice, Victoire.

If you have to go to the centre of Bordeaux and do not want to spend too much money, you can take bus line 1. This bus service of TBC Bordeaux runs between the airport and ‘Place des Quinconces’, after 36 minutes you can get off at ‘Place Gambetta’ in the city centre. During the day, bus line 1 leaves every 15 minutes from the airport. A bus ticket costs €1.40 and can be purchased at the ticket machine or at the bus driver. You can even buy a ticket in advance for 5 trips (€5.90) or 10 trips (€11.30).

Connecting services and other directions:  
• “Quinconces” from the airport with Lianes 1+: get off at the stop “Poste de Mériadeck” and take the Lianes 3+ bus to the “Quinconces” terminus. 
• The airport from “Quinconces”: take the Lianes 3+ and get off at “Gambetta” for the connecting service with Liane 1+. 
• Connecting service with Tram Line A at “Mérignac Centre” and lines B and C at “Bordeaux Quinconces”.

the Bordeaux fans will use the trams aswell so best to get to the stadium early to avoid congestion. there is a fan zone at the stadium that sells booze and they are selling booze in the ground apparently for our game !

Yep you would need to cross a busy ringroad/dual carriageway. Like Ant says the tram would be best.

Gotta praise the ticket office for once now!! Bought it last night and rang up and told them I was flying early next week and was worried it wouldn't come in time, the woman I spoke to went out of her way to get it a registered delivery, and it got delivered this morning
