For those arriving at Bordeaux airport the options for getting to the city centre are either taxi, shuttle or bus.
It is only a short distance to the centre of Bordeaux (12 kilometres), but because the road runs through a large part of the city, it takes at least 25 minutes to get there.

Once you’ve arrived at Bordeaux Airport you will see a lot of advertising for Navette Aéroport: this shuttle service is slightly faster than the bus but much more expensive (€7.20). You can get the shuttle from outside HALL B exit 11.

New route: direct linkbetween Saint-Jean train station in the city centre and the airport via Bordeaux Centre and Mérignac Centre.
The line 1 serves the following sectors: Parc Kennedy, Mérignac Soleil, Mérignac Centre, Barrière Judaïque, Gambetta, Palais de Justice, Victoire.

This bus service of TBC Bordeaux runs between the airport and ‘Place des Quinconces’, after 36 minutes you can get off at ‘Place Gambetta’ in the city centre. During the day, bus line 1 leaves every 15 minutes from the airport. A bus ticket costs €1.40 and can be purchased at the ticket machine or at the bus driver. You can even buy a ticket in advance for 5 trips (€5.90) or 10 trips (€11.30).
Connecting services and other directions:
• “Quinconces” from the airport with Lianes 1+: get off at the stop “Poste de Mériadeck” and take the Lianes 3+ bus to the “Quinconces” terminus.
• The airport from “Quinconces”: take the Lianes 3+ and get off at “Gambetta” for the connecting service with Liane 1+.
• Connecting service with Tram Line A at “Mérignac Centre” and lines B and C at “Bordeaux Quinconces”.
