It says on sale soon on the website instead of tbc! Might just be an error though

When you go in to select your seats it then says sold out

They have done in the past which is why I didn't load my basket up before the sale, I should have known better then to think that the TO would do what they normally do  :butt

For those arriving at Bordeaux airport the options for getting to the city centre are either taxi, shuttle or bus.

It is only a short distance to the centre of Bordeaux (12 kilometres), but because the road runs through a large part of the city, it takes at least 25 minutes to get there.

TAXI :
There are many taxi companies that can bring you to Bordeaux and other places. The average cost of a taxi ride for 4 in a taxi to Bordeaux city centre is €30.

Make a taxi reservation Bordeaux Airport through YATTAXI, an online booking platform for reliable and reasonable priced airport transfers.

SHUTTLE :
The shuttle operates a 30 minutes DIRECT connection (in normal traffic conditions) between Bordeaux Airport and St Jean Train Station, every day, all year round with departures on the hour and every hour !

Once you’ve arrived at Bordeaux Airport you will see a lot of advertising for Navette Aéroport: this shuttle service is slightly faster than the bus but much more expensive (€7.20). You can get the shuttle from outside HALL B exit 11.

Please consult website Navette Aéroport for more information : http://navetteaeroport-bordeaux.com/en/

FREE WI-FI ONBOARD !

SCHEDULES :

Bordeaux Airport (exit 11) > Bordeaux Saint Jean Train Station : 8:00am to 11:00pm

Bordeaux Saint Jean Train Station > Bordeaux Airport : 6:00am* to 9:00pm
*1st 6am departure only from monday to friday

SHUTTLE FARES :

• Discount return ticket* (10.30€)
*Senior citizen over 60, young people under 26, families with 3 children or more, groups of 6 persons or more and airport employees with airport badge are eligible to discount fares.

TICKETS SALES :

Tickets can be purchased on board, please ask bus driver.

Online and print at home : http://www.boutique-navetteaeroportbordeaux.com/en/

BUS :
http://www.bordeaux.aeroport.fr/en/info/bus-bordeaux-airport

Please consult website and timetable bus line 1

New route: direct linkbetween Saint-Jean train station in the city centre and the airport via Bordeaux Centre and Mérignac Centre.

The line 1 serves the following sectors: Parc Kennedy, Mérignac Soleil, Mérignac Centre, Barrière Judaïque, Gambetta, Palais de Justice, Victoire.

Line 1 bus route : http://www.infotbc.com/sites/default/files/LIANE%201%20ALLER.pdf

Line 1 time table in French : http://www.infotbc.com/sites/default/files/ligne1.pdf

If you have to go to the centre of Bordeaux and do not want to spend too much money, you can take bus line 1. This bus service of TBC Bordeaux runs between the airport and ‘Place des Quinconces’, after 36 minutes you can get off at ‘Place Gambetta’ in the city centre. During the day, bus line 1 leaves every 15 minutes from the airport. A bus ticket costs €1.40 and can be purchased at the ticket machine or at the bus driver. You can even buy a ticket in advance for 5 trips (€5.90) or 10 trips (€11.30).

Connecting services and other directions:

• “Quinconces” from the airport with Lianes 1+: get off at the stop “Poste de Mériadeck” and take the Lianes 3+ bus to the “Quinconces” terminus.

• The airport from “Quinconces”: take the Lianes 3+ and get off at “Gambetta” for the connecting service with Liane 1+.

• Connecting service with Tram Line A at “Mérignac Centre” and lines B and C at “Bordeaux Quinconces”.

hope this helps and see ya in Bordeaux !

the stadium is accesable by tram from the city center and it takes about 30-40min !

station Parc des Expositions-Nouveau Stade, line C and then about 5-10min walk to the AWAY section past the fan zone and to the North Stand.

you can get the C from outside the train station Gare St Jean in the city centre to the stadium.

tram line C : http://www.infotbc.com/sites/default/files/TRAM%20C_0.pdf

you can buy a 24h ticket for unlimited transport for 4euros60, 1 ticket trip costs 1euro50 and can be used within the hour of using it.

you have plans and maps here in French : http://www.infotbc.com/le-reseau-tbc/plans-et-cartes

from the Connemara pub take the tram line A from either the station Hôtel de Ville (5 min walk from the pub) or direct from station Meriadeck and change at Port de Bourgogne for line C.

tram line A : http://www.infotbc.com/sites/default/files/TRAM%20A_0.pdf

tram C timetable, from 3 to 6pm there are plenty of trams to the stadium, every 10min with some trains stopping at Cracovie and Quinconces Munich so get the direct ones to the stadium : http://www.infotbc.com//timetable/C/stoparea/TBTSJEAN/forward/2015/09/17

the Bordeaux fans will use the trams aswell so best to get to the stadium early to avoid congestion. there is a fan zone at the stadium that sells booze and they are selling booze in the ground apparently for our game !

lets get the win like last time - YNWA !

Map around stadium : http://www.girondinsbilletterie.com/sites/default/files/upload/plan-acces-nouveau-stade-2015.jpg

Stadium plan : http://www.girondinsbilletterie.com/sites/default/files/upload/Plan-Stade-entree.jpg

Try Skyscanner, how would we know what they are as of now? People on here aren't going or have already booked!

Thanks. Difficult to walk to? Why? Dual carriageway or...? Distance? So are there buses or anything? Not had chance to look yet! :D

Yep you would need to cross a busy ringroad/dual carriageway. Like Ant says the tram would be best.

Gotta praise the ticket office for once now!! Bought it last night and rang up and told them I was flying early next week and was worried it wouldn't come in time, the woman I spoke to went out of her way to get it a registered delivery, and it got delivered this morning :)
