For any tennis fans, this reminds me of the US Open final back in 2020 where Thiem and Zverev both played as if they knew it would be their one and only chance to win a slam and it turned into a contest of who could out-bottle the other.

Looks like Wilson is going to be playing the role of Thiem.

Wilson played pretty well in the first session - since then it's been very poor from both.

Jones has been extremely good at potting his way out of trouble in this tournament. But that does also mean his positional play had been poor to end up in those situations

He plays in a really weird way.

The top break builders try and keep the cue ball close to the object ball. He doesn't. He tends to play his shots plain ball instead of using a bit of side to make the next shot easier.
