I don't like icy runways. It best clear up but the long range weather forecast is for constant snow for the next two weeks with the highest temp of -3.

Is L6 going?

By the way, this is a genuine photo of the Bucharest runway.

It's warmer today (0 degrees) but this weekend we had a huge snowfall, blizzard, schools closed, trains canceled, fun times. I do think however it will get warmer in the next couple of weeks.

My mum txted me last night saying it was -30 in Romania. However, she lives in France, has no affiliation to Romania whatsoever and is a bit thick. Just thought I'd say like.

Nico, you'd better wear something warmer than you did on Derby day  :o

I'm a right softy when it comes to the cold; I'm taking thermals, I am never going to get as cold as I was in Sofia, that was mental.  Mind you, get yer vodka coat on and yer sorted  ;D

I remember that night. Even the banners were frozen after the game. I couldn't get mine down as my arms were cramping up. Minus 28 I heard on the night with the wind chill.
Been there, done that, getting older, bordering on part timer status. So sad but that's life.

right about the vodka. wrong about the resort: closest one is 150 miles away (which equals aprox. 5 hours of driving or more in this weather - hahahaha). stick with the vodka.
