One of the best cameo moments of the half was on 35 minutes. The ball was hit long to Firmino who was surrounded, yet he controlled the ball beat a player and laid it off..........such skill and determination.

Don’t think it’s been a 0-3 game but I’ll take it! Great save by Karius had Sevilla scored any of those good chances may be a different game. We’ve also missed good opportunities.

Anyway CB’s have been good today. Firmino too.

Brilliant. Aside from a couple of shaky moments at 1-0 we could've scored 6. Keep it up lads. Hopefully we can conserve our energy the rest of the game.

Boy did they ride their luck, there were at least 4 occasions when they were wide open. Our pressing has been bloody fierce. Karius earned his corn. Phil has hardly been in the game. Hendo and Gino have been meeting their midfield head on.

I also enjoyed the way Karius came for that ball right at the end of the half, he made the decision to come for it, and made sure he got it.

We look really sharp going forward. Expect us to sit deep and look for counter-attacks in the second. Would not be surprised to see Sturridge come on for Firmino early in the second.

Make no mistake, Sevilla are still in this as they are playing well. Henderson and Gini need to get to grips in midfield as Sevilla are getting too much of the ball.

Our defence are playing well and some great saves by Karius.

just like the reverse "first leg", one team missing couple of chances, then the other team threw a sucker punch by scoring from a sudden attack
