Brilliant, if it hadn’t have been for all the goals, was up there as one of our better players tonight.

The commentator said he chose the wrong pass, should have passed to Salah. Really they're correct because the pass to Salah was a routine one and the one to Jota didn't even look like it was on. Fantastic vision and execution. Most players wouldn't have even seen it.

Better with each passing match.  So solid on the ball and has gotten back to his progressive and creative passing as he's gotten more fit and comfortable.
And, the very refreshing thing is when he does make an errant pass, he immediately tracks the opponent down and frequently wins it back before any harm comes.

He looked so much better second half when there was more pace in the game, seemed to suit him when he played more on instinct rather than the ponderous passing game we were playing first half.

Excellent game tonight. The ball for Jota’s goal was perfect. Had 3 great options probably picks the hardest one but gets it right. A confident Curtis is a different player. Hope he can keep his place for the rest of the season by continuing in this form

Absolutely. A less confident Curtis plays the easy ball to Salah down the line. The criticism at times has been that he either holds the ball too long or plays too safe. The ball to Jota proves he’s got it in him.

That’s as good as I’ve seen him since Porto away.

The fundamentals of his game are good. Good physique, Good first touch and technique. Whether he goes on to add a consistent end product will determine whether he'll be a good squad player here or a permanent fixture in the side.

Superb in that second half, his close control and press-resistance is lightyears ahead of any midfielder we have bar Thiago and if he can learn to use his frame better (and more consistently) then he'll be a great option to have around the squad. What a difference it makes to see a midfielder lose the ball and immediately snapping back in to win it (and succeeding).

He's always had the raw tools but we've seen a smattering of these types of performances over the past 3 years which he's never managed to build on, so let's hope he gets the chance over the coming weeks and takes it as he's in there on merit.

You could tell he was dialed-in today.

Midway in the 1st half he lazily got caught on the ball - he immediately busted a gut covered 10 yards and poked the ball away for us to recover possession and I think we even created a chance on it.

His Pass to Salah where Salah lost try to create for himself up 5-1 was brilliant also

He looked so much better second half when there was more pace in the game, seemed to suit him when he played more on instinct rather than the ponderous passing game we were playing first half.

Said that to my wife in the first half. He’s very good at carrying the ball but too often there is nobody running beyond him, so he has to check back and play a simple pass. He’s the one that then gets it in the neck for not doing anything.

If he’s got players running off him, like for the assist of the season contender, he’s very good. I really like him, shame about his injury this season as he could have nailed down a place for this season at least.
Rafa Benitez: "I’ll always keep in my heart the good times I’ve had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager."

Long-term Hendo replacement for me.
Mark my words. Top 8 will be a massive struggle.
We won't make any big signings this season and we will go back to being a top4 club.
