wow didn't expect Fire to get such a thumping.

Atlanta v Crew tonight at midnight (UK). Live on SKY cant wait :)

Schweinsteiger only got on for the last 25 mins when the game was gone. A rare Nikolics blank aswell.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Just looking at the stats Phil

First time The Fire have not scored at home since March 2016. Around 36 games!!!

I'm really worried about NYRB winning the cup now.  They are like the Man Utd of MLS.

Yeah I was on BWP 2+ last night mate, saw the result and got my hopes up, how the fuck hasn't he gotten a 2nd in a 5-0!  ::)

I think there's still teams there that can give them a much tougher test.

Hope to see Atlanta do the business tonight, Almiron back is a boost if he's fit.

Haha yeah you know what I mean Turkish.  I think its the Red Bull thing (Naby Keita episode) and all their money.  Saying that, Atlanta are owned by a Billionaire (what top sports team isn't these days)

anyway..

Yeah I did think of Rodderzzzzzzzz myself earlier :) .  Wonder if he was at the game, I suspect so.

The Thorns lifted the silverware this month. Time for the men's squad to follow suit.

Just seen this mate

Aha. So we have  a Portland Fan in the mix now :)

They should beat Houston or Kansas over 2 legs. IMO

I've met Arthur Blank, son plays for a local club, and a bunch of the players at my club go to the private school where he is a very prominent donor...

Nice dude, and he and his admins have laid out AU very well...

Funny you're sharing this. This came out on my youtube playlist somehow yesterday! Amazing to think this is their debut season as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXNuVz4EFUc

I also watched this other video on the Cascadia Derby - talking about this rivalry between Seattle, Vancouver and Portland. Looks proper mad this.

I was there lads, Have a season ticket, have no idea where that came from but what a confidence boost for Sunday!

Because of the Seahawks we now play Seattle away on Thursday 2nd. Which means I'll finish work at 2pm, do the 3.5 hours drive down with border crossing, watch the game, drive back and then work at 4am this next morning! Next Friday is going to be a c*nt either way!

I've also booked hotels in Portland and Houston for the potential Western Final!!! Don't worry though ive got free cancellation! ;)

Haha sorry mate, but they were the team I was most worried about in the East. If they can keep that momentum rolling over the next couple of years theyre gunna be a powerhouse in this league.

Had a feeling Atlanta were going to slip up somewhere to be honest. Its been coming for weeks. Mentioned my concerns in more than one post on here.

They had 2 or 3 good chances to seal 2nd place and avoid that knockout game but it just never happened for one reason or another. Coupled with all the Atlanta hype, the writing was on the wall so to speak.:(

Go Vancouver :)

All right boys, here go TFC. totally planning on another home cup final in a row last year dominate loss on pen. come on. COME ON!

Seasons since day one missed a mere handful of games ever. This year paid for all, great team to watch. Played like an Anaconda just kept the ball forever and slowly crushed the other team 4-0 4-0 4-0  all the time 4-0.

Gotta win the games last year was crazyness eastern final down 3-0 in half an hour to Montreal ends up a pair of 3-2 home wins, 2 goals in extra time wins it party party party. So good.

Go the baby Reds
