Well in hindsight it proves with today's entitled footballers it's a bad idea to announce you are off. The first sign of a battle and they throw the towel in as they know they won't be punished for it next season.

30minutes of the old Liverpool where we played with intensity, drove forwards, played with pace.. Was lovely to see.

Though the subs were 5mins too late, we had ran out of steam.

It's been over 2 years now of us simply being unable to defend properly. Conceding first, or coming unstuck at the first sign of any pressure. The goals we concede are all the same too - either a counter or from us being unable to clear the ball.
