Thats a straight red that, Crouchy was of the same thought
VAR deemed it not to be a clear and obvious error, yet they did with the Curtis Jones incident earlier in the season. I mean why not ask him to take a look, then he makes it worse by making it up as he goes along for stopping Gakpo from scoring

Read the report.Absolute hit the nail on the head.
Shocking how he hasn't improved.
Would Edwards would have signed him ?

Salah walks through the mixed zone, declines interview requests and says: “If I speak today there will be fire.”

But with you saying that is gonna cause fire too so what's the point?

If Mos "friends" have been telling him how great he is and how he should be playing every game he needs to stop listening to them and watch his performances recently and he just might see why he isnt playing every game.

I don't get it. Why did he blew the whistle ?

Professional pride.

‘If I speak today, there will be fire’ is apparently what he’s just said in the mixed zone according to Gorst.

Guess it isn’t over then.

Pearce too...

The keeper’s made a daft mistake and the ref has bailed him out as he, presumably, thought that that would be way too unfair to punish him.

The thing is that’s not his decision. That sort of thing doesn’t happen in any other sport. A batter loses his bearings on 99, fails to make his ground and is run out or stumped doesn’t get let off because “he thought he was in”. A golfer doesn’t get let off for accidentally leaving an extra club in his bag in the final round of a tournament he was leading.

Rules are rules, the ref can’t pick and choose on whether to enforce them based on how daft a player might look afterwards.
