US Open starts today, although I haven't seen many interest matches in the first round, Wozniacki's comeback is probably the most interesting thing over the next couple of days.

Murray play tomorrow around 6.30pm UK time vs Moutet.

It's a real shame that Amazon Prime lost the rights to the US Open, I'm not paying for Sky Sports and can't be bothered finding streams for the majority of matches.

Murray just starting.

Caught the end of Leyla Fernandez getting knocked out, what’s been the story there since a couple of years back? Just youthful inconsistency?

Murray 2 sets up on Moutet. He saved a couple of set points at 4-5 and it's a long way back for a frustrated Moutet now.

Clean sweep of wins for the Brits in round one of the US Open! That can't have happened all that often before, unless you count times where Murray was there on his own :P

The two finalist that year, have been total gash since.  Think it was just a fluke result, that one.

Ruud out again in the 2nd round of a grand slam.

He really should be beating Zhang. But credit to Zhang.

Ruud just flatters to deceive so often. Has done absolutely nothing in the hard court season, and been bounced in the first couple of rounds of pretty much every tournament this summer. Just seems like he wants to be a clay court specialist and doesn’t care about any other surface.

Ruud's last 7 grand slams: 4 defeats in R2, 3 defeats in the final.  Nailed on to lose to Djokovic in the Melbourne final then.

Wow, most seeded players in the bottom half of the draw are out already. Only Fritz and Paul left among top-16 except Djokovic. The draw looked easy for Djokovic to begin with, even easier now. Although he could face Vesely in the next round, he's got a 2-0 H2H against Djokovic...

Not sure how much that will matter though, Djokovic should reach the final. No one except Alcaraz looks like they can beat him.

Great win for Jack Draper beating Hurkazc in straight sets. Good win for Katie Boulter as well. Both have a decent chance in the next round too, the draw has opened up nicely for them.

Murray's having a mare against Dimitrov. 25% of points won behind his second serve in the first set ::)

He's got 4 young kids, no way he gets a chance to look at the footy highlights when there's Nick Jr and CBeebies on the go.

You have to wonder how much longer Murray will carry on after displays like that. He's been making noises for a while about how he feels like he's in the best shape he's been since his injuries started in 2017 and he's still not even getting close to even making the second week of a slam. At some point I'm sure he'll question whether it's all worth it any more.

He did make it through :(

Jack Draper also through to the 4th round, Norrie looks to be going out in straight sets.

Dan Evans takes the third set off of Alcaraz so it's 2-1 to Alacaraz.

Katie Boulter playing later on tonight.

Quite looking forward to Wawrinka vs Sinner soon, even though it's probably going to be an easy one for Sinner.

Well done to him! Want Alcaraz to win because he's amazing to watch plus something about Evans annoys me - not sure what, it's completely irrational on my part!

Just checked the results. Not overly surprised that Ostapenko has won - when she's hitting well she's unplayable. Her only problem is that she's inconsistent.

I like to see new champions. Both Gauff and Pegula are in good form right now, and Sabalenka, Ostapenko and Vondrousova have the advantage of having already won a slam. Couldn't call it.

She's never beaten Ostapenko, so not a huge surprise there.

Gauff is the form player coming into it, so it'll be interesting if she can get the win.
