I am with World Choice Sports on a 'Day Trip'.

The flight times changed from my original booking which is frustrating.

Fri: Train to London, Eurostar to Brussels
Sat: Brussels to Kiev
Sun: Kiev to Lviv train. Lviv to Wroclaw train
Mon: Wroclaw to Belfast then Belfast to Liverpool

Just over £400

Got one in the ballot unexpectedly! What's my best bet flight wise? Would need to go on the Saturday and come back same day really. Would like to go from Liverpool but Manchester also doable. Willing to pay a ridiculous 800 quid or more at this stage.

I’m doing Stansted to Warsaw Friday. Coach innovations from Warsaw to Kievfroday night gets in Sat morning and returns after the game. Then flight back to Stansted Sunday afternoon. Flights £400 and bus £159.

We just got the last two seats in the bus from Warsaw. Looking at flights to Berlin and train to Warsaw.

Sorry to single you out but I’ve seen loads of these and it strikes me that people are either shite at looking for routes or unwilling to put any graft into their travel.

You’re not going to get a direct flight there and back for a couple of hundred quid. But plenty of a-b-c-b-a routes for around £400. Especially from London.

In the same boat mate. Getting to Kiev on the Sat via Vilinius looks OK and then via back there on the Monday, It's just what to do in between I'm trying to work out. No doubt accommodation will be ridiculous.

Why would it bother you enough to even make a comment on it? I clearly need help so I'm asking on a forum where there are countless other Reds in the same boat as myself.

obviously you havent tried, if its so easy why dont you find us all an a-b-c-b-a route for 400 quid, I will happily take it

The thread is to share how people are getting there - not to share as yet unpurchased routes. It’s not fair on the people making the effort to look for routes to share on here and push the prices up.

Just be inventive with your searches. Look for flights to Ukraine not Kiev and use trains from where you can land. Search from every city in Europe for the cheapest flights then search for flights to them cities.

Driving to Stansted. Stansted --> Warsaw --> Coach to Kiev. Same route back after the game.

Going to the secondary Warsaw airport though, which seems to be fucking miles from Warsaw

This MAY be helpful to some on here... but a direct flight is being organised from the Isle of Man to Kiev on the morning of the final and then back again after the match to the Isle of Man.

Obviously you'd need to get over here first but may give an option for those who want a direct route

Im flying from Gatwick on the Friday night, to Riga, Latvia and then on to kiev the following morning. Flight back is via minsk and another overnight stop on the sunday night.

But I do hope this Luton airport strike doesnt spread to gatwick:

Polrail is doing my head in! Booked the sleeper before Roma away from Lublin to Kiev and then back to Wroclaw on the Sunday. Money went out 26th April still says pending on my account and had no email telling me where to collect tickets in Lublin. Emailed them 2weeks was told I’d get confirmation email. Nothing yet! Emailed again last week no reply 😡
