In that case wouldn’t city and arsenal have the same set of refs with the same amount of games?

6 refs have officiated 30 of our 38 games between them. Taylor and Kavanagh have done 12 (6 each).

What we need is to turn tactical voting into a game to beat the system. Like when the Great British Public en masse decided that they were going to get Rage Against the Machine to be the Christmas #1 rather than the X Factor winner, or voted for 'Boaty McBoatface' as the name for a ship.

Has anybody answered the question why we are reffed by a significantly less pool of ref than all the other teams? Been looking at the stats and not only do we get the smallest in number (12) but are reffed by the same bunch over and over. Its wild.

The answer will be, because we're in a lot of top-level games, so they send their best refs to ref our games more often than for others, which makes our ref pool smaller. I don't buy it, but I'm 100 percent the argument would be something along that line.

Awful performance from Bridget Phillipson on Question Time tonight. When the main line of attack from the Tories is that your party has 'no plan' you probably shouldn't play into that by giving vague and evasive politician's answers to every question.

The Tory was predictably terrible, acting like his party hasn't been in power for the last 14 years. Daisy Cooper from the Lib Dems was the best of a bad bunch but it's much easier to give good answers when you know you won't have to implement them.

This is going to be a long and tedious six weeks.

Which Tory? There’s only 4 people on the panel and one of them is a Tory MP and one a Tory journalist.

Sorry if this has been posted before. Guess who's most affected by the wrong VAR decisions. Btw the problem is the people operating the system not the system itself. We need independent personal with no connection to PGMOL. At the moment, it's one of the PGMOL stooges leading the VAR room.

Multi-millionaire football players being dragged into the murky world of gambling, yet people find it hard to believe referees are caught up in the same issues, when it’s much easier for them to influence games.
We all know that the world of football has corruption. The only question is who is involved and how deep does it go?

Is that bad tactics? A Trump win will mean the Dems get up again in 2028 after America has another "did nazi that coming" moment of awakening, and if the Dems run someone under 70 and sane then they'd probably hold the White House until 2036, by which time Haley will be too old to be a female president (they're ready, not THAT ready). So if Haley wants to be president, it's best for her that Biden wins and America does it's usual flip flop in 2028.

The thing is, there is no "non-Trump" Republican party anymore. They hounded out the few sane conservatives who are anti-Trump like Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney. So, for Hayley to get anywhere in that party she needs to align herself with the nutters. The question is what happens, if Trump croaks in the next few years. Can the "normal" Republicans take back their party? I'm not so sure about that in the short to medium term. Hayley seems very career driven and for her to get anywhere in politics she needs to be on the good side of the Republican party which at the moment (and in the forseeable future) is run by the Trump-nutters.
