What a f%^kin ball ache that update thing is.
My passport photo failed every time despite trying different methods of taking the picture.
Not sure if this has already been asked or not but why pick now to have the system update and not right after the sales in July or better still end of the season and give people time to get sorted with photo id?
Maybe jumping the gun a bit but has anyone yet had a call or email from the club after a failed attempt?

Probably not as it officially only started today.

All efforts failed for doing my brother's. Using a Galaxy S10 and a proper digital camera to take the photo on a black background. No shading, glare, nothing else in the picture. Seems like it just accepts what it wants.

Going to be a bad conversation when they contact him as he hasn't got a clue how to upload things like this. Only online thing he can do is facebook so if I'm not there then fuck knows how the conversation will go if they call him.

What do we reckon the oldest season ticket holders' age currently is?  ;D
the lad i know has two season ticket from a fella who died in 1962!

so thats nearly 60 years ago - the original ST holder would be well over 120 by now I think

You kinda hope they update the software before they do the STH or the members with less than 13 credits
is right - this sounds like the biggest ballache

One of our group doesn’t have a driving licence so what does she do for address verification, assuming you can only upload one picture which will be her passport? Apologies if this has been answered previously, I must have missed it. Cheers in advance

So season  tickets are gonna be able to change names from someone who died years ago to any other persons name then members can too?  yes or no? Just provide death certificate and I.d. for the person transferring to?

Ended up working on the last try for me. Driving license wouldn’t work but passport did.

System needs to be worked on I think. Not many will read these forums nor be savvy enough to get it done within the 6 tries.

Seems to be plenty enough on here that hasn't worked, so fuck knows how many there are in total.

We phoned up about this and they said send an email via the Fan Update enquiry page with all info on the member plus the passport pic and the extra id pic and it should get sorted.

I thought it needs to be done in order to buy tickets in the November sale? Or is it that you will be able to buy, but the cards wont be activated?

Just been on the phone to the club about my lads passport photo not being accepted.
Was told they are having trouble with the passport uploads and are having training to try and sort it out? Got asked the expected questions, was it in natural light, dark background etc. As it was taken in the same place as the 3 driving licences that were accepted, the issue must be with the system not the actual photograph.

Now I have to wait for them to get in touch with me to explain why it wasn't accepted, and his account is locked for updates until they do. Hopefully it's a simple fix to the system as I couldn't make the photographs any clearer. Can see this being a right ball ache.

It's not that mate, as mine does too and it uploaded first time with no issues.
Thanks for letting me know.

I'm sorted now on attempt 5. I got frustrated and used my scanner with the DPI set to maximum to get an image to upload and it worked.

But the site specifically said that document scanner quality wouldn't be good enough.  :butt

Are provisional driving licenses accepted?

That's the only thing I can think of being an issue with my brother's. Mine and my 2 mates were fine with a full licence and all accepted first time.

I did my own yesterday, no probs. Today, it wouldn't accept my lads passport photo. I'll have to take another pic of it just in case.

Has he been using it?
Does that matter? The card I want transferring has been used by my lad. He already has a fan card of his own with aways. He can’t have both so does he have to choose and possibly lose full credits in all cups?

They are making it pretty clear that a. you can only have one card per person and they aren't transferring credits between cards.

I suppose if you can show a good reason why the card with cups is not in his name and that they are 'his' credits you might be able to do something - you can only ask.
