Need to get a 2nd to really rattle them early in the 2nd half. Once we can isolate their back line we are laughing here it's just getting to that point is the hard part.

Jesus Christ, Mo just touch it over the keeper. Harder to miss. Slot that and at 2-0 H/T we go on to win the game I believe.

They'll be delighted getting in at HT only 1-0 down.

3.5 games with no open play goal. Once again a huge chance is missed. We're still in it but we're relying on mistakes from them to progress at present. If we can get the next one, I suspect they'll get nervy and tiredness may begin to creep in.

Playing with purpose but they've defended very well. Salah really had to do better with that one-on-one, made a right mess of that.

We have been okay. Most of their chances come from us losing the ball. We cannot dawdle on the ball as these will nick it off you.

If we can get another not sure if they can keep up their man marking effort. Nervous energy and all that can be quite sapping.

Not sure this game suits Elliott, at least yet. They’re very aggressive in press/man to man, physical side of could lead to transitions against us.

Playing well, really should be 2 up Mo would score that 9 times out of 10.

Movement so much better that in the last couple of games, Gakpo doing well, just need to keep calm and keep pushing.

Ref frustratingly seems to give them a free kick for any contact, but they seem to be able to push and kick with impunity.

Meh. Maybe we'll improve the second half, but it just feels like the same old song right now. Generally look toothless in attack and we really look like we have a fuck up waiting to happen at the back.

A rather frustrating watch. Better decision making in the final third and we're at least level on aggregate. A shocking miss by Mo. We're by far the better side, but somehow keep offering them encouragement by gifting them the ball.

A sharper second half and we have a great chance here.

I thought they would tire last week too but didn't. I suppose they got goals at crucial periods which kept them going.

Still in it. We've played quite well and Atalanta don't seem too comfortable, scoring a second quite soon could really put a lot of pressure on them. No absolutely standout performances so far, Gakpo doing well, Mo nowhere near it but still a danger.

Poor finishing but we just need to stay in the tie. There's more goals in it for us as long as we don't do anything stupid at the back.

I can see why he's picked Gakpo but in a game where we need goals, our matchwinners are on the bench. Stay in the game until you get them on.
