Seeing as we're going down the rabbit hole, I want to know how far the player has to stoop down before he's at fault for endangering himself.

I think all 3 incidents are comparable. It's the inconsistency of the decisions that gets me, mainly from the FA side. What constitutes a red card one game is totally ignored in the next and the next is different from those 2. I don't mind it was a red if the very next challenge involving a high boot was also red. I have stated before I think they should all be yellow cards and then move on.
It the FAncan of do anything after a yellow card is shown on the field at the time.

Looked menacing at times, he regularly occupies at least two defenders, making room for Firmino.

You'll miss him in the next two league games.

Meaning absolutely no offense to Milner, but I would like to see Mane get the 7 shirt next season.

Still won us a penalty that should of killed the game. Only quiet in Mane terms.

He looked knackered after 60, not surprised Klopp subbed him off. Although some morons behind me on the Kop were berating Klopp for it.

No coincidence that when LFC don't win, Mane has a average game or doesn't play at all, it's all too familiar. Yes we are better prepared this season with Salah but, the last 3games we've only had him on the field for just under half of the time and in that time we've conceded 6 goals and scored 1

At least he pretty much only has one more game left in his ban (I doubt he would have played in the league cup anyway), he'll be glad to move on as soon as he can.

Absolutely shambolic he got three games for a pure unlucky situation. The FA can't see any differences ever between reds and reds. Getting nauseating. It may well cost further points next weekend.

way I see it is if a brave keeper is prepared to go for it with his head, then the striker is fucked.
if the keeper takes one for the team then the striker is sent off and youre on route for a possible demolition of the other side.

He probably wasn't going to play tomorrow and his ban is over after the weekend, so it won't be too long until he's back. As for a contract extension, he only signed a five year contract last summer, why would he need an extension already?

It's ok - he will get a little rest after hitting the ground running to start the season - and then will feature for 90 next week in the CL.

Think he'll still be with you for this season & next. Obviously depends on how you do in this time which will decide his long term future.

Of course it does, I was implying I wanna see us getting  a string of consecutive wins from now on. Sadio is obviously a big boost for us to get exactly that.

Finally we'll see our real front 4 of mane-bobby-salah with Coutinho behind them. I think that'll take care of our issues against deep defending teams because that's too many who can beat their man and play in short spaces. I have waited too long for this, let the redemption commence!

No doubt the picture of the season. Sturridge’s face at Spurs was the best picture last season and this Mane one has won the award for this season.
