Pity Bournemouth aren’t United. De Gea and his team of cry arses would have got the foul on the keeper there.

Cracking the flags in Liverpool now.

BBC have Manchester weather as 'Gusty Winds and Sunny Periods"

Absolutely no need to call this game off. They should dock points off City

That’d be pretty funny, I imagine the conspiracy theories are already being written.
Maybe they could play in the middle of their break like, say, I dunno, if for example any FA Cup games had gone to a replay or something ridiculously thought out like that...

If there’s one thing I wish would be clamped down on more it’s teams taking fucking forever to take throw ins, free kicks, corners in an attempt to slow the game down.

Bournemouth have been at it all match and it slows the match down to a snails pace. Wolves are the only team we’ve played recently who noticeably haven’t done that to us.

We do it too.

For 5 minutes at the end of the match to waste time, which to be fair is still against the rules.

The majority of teams in this division are at it from kick off to slow the opposition down.

I think at times in the past we can be blamed for not doing it enough to be honest, but yeah horrible when teams do it from about 20 minutes. It never stops as teams know they have about a 70% chance the ref will do nothing and add on maybe one extra minute at most.

Genuinely does my nut in. Even in games we aren't playing it just annoys me no end. The amount of times I want to string Kasper Schmeichel up by the neck because of his taking 10 minutes over every goal kick is disturbing. The fucking "pretending to take a throw, then stop and throw it to someone else to take to waste more time" move is a blood rager too.

I'd like to see a rule change where everytime the ball is stopped/out of play, the clock stops

Make the game 80 minutes long (40 minutes per half) and make sure that 40 minutes per half of football is played.

Lovely goal for Sheff United

Perfect timing to take the edge off that wonderpost about changing football to 80 minutes :D
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

The ball is in play for around 27 minutes a half currently. Sometimes as low as 23 minutes. Matches would last over 2 and a half hours even if you cut the time down to 80 minutes.
And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

Only if people timewaste like they do now

I think if they thought the game would last 2 1/2 hours then they'd be getting a move on

Bournemouth are awful. For a side that wants to play football on the ground, they lack a midfield that can recycle the ball. They either have to put it wide where there is no room or have to kick it up. How can they build up play without a decent CM. Wilson did okay today, and every dangerous move of them (the goal & Fraser shot) came through him, but they need a proper midfield to involve their wide men/striker more.

I think we've all played with players like Solanke & Bamford when we were younger. Great for their age group but not up to scratch when it comes to playing with older age groups, it generally translates to no goals from strikers.
