Topic: The little things that annoy you in football

Since nothing is happening lately and there isn’t much to discuss… what tiny things that footballers do, or just happens in games annoy you?

I’m not talking about time wasting, diving or Bruno Fernandes’ face.

I hate it when players defending do that backward flick header. It’s not controlled, gets nowhere near enough power to actually clear it and they can’t actually see who it’s going to. Just head it out or to the side.

And the worst of all - short corners where it is immediately played back to the corner taker, who is then called offside.

Not sure who it is, but there's a commentator who Sky put on the EFL who is constantly banging on about players bringing the ball 'under his spell' like he's watching a fucking magic convention.

Whenever a commentator says ‘you couldn’t write it’ when a game takes a big twist, like a team coming from three down to win. Mate, if I was scripting a football game I think I could come up with a comeback victory.
