The music playing while the Spurs and Southampton players were in the tunnel sounded like Shawn Michaels theme music. Very strange.

Hope one of the Southampton players superkicks Conte.

Already shaping into a very good weekend for Arsenal, though I expect we ll lose top spot in 2 hours, Spurs could get 6 against this awful Soton team.
Not sure how you can say that on the opening day of the season ;D

Gerrard needs to get these to shape up sharpish, otherwise he’ll be looking towards BT Sport again.

Not a good start by title chasers Spurs , still expect a 4-1 here .

A few dives going in by the Spurs lads.

I know teams will hold out for money off them but I'm surprised Newcastle haven't spent more this summer yet. There's so many improvements they can make all over the pitch.

They know everyone is watching them and even Abu Dhabi will start waving the FFP flag immediately. If it's 19-1 it's not going to end well.

Southampton have needed to change manager for ages now. To be fair I don't think they invest loads in the squad usually but they're sleepwalking towards another relegation battle.

For me they are the most likely 'established' side to go down. There are no goals in this side

16th, 11th, 15th, 15th are his finishes there so far. I think they could do better than him. They've been in the league for ten years now and looked well better in their first few years there.
