Sounds like Brentford aren't going for this, resting many of their players according to the commentry  here - I've no idea, as I never watch them. Shame really, they may have had a chance, but then again, promotion would be the massive prize for them this season.

Are we all excited for the magic of the cup tomorrow? Hope you've got your FA Cup bingo cards ready, I reckon Coventry losing to Sutton will be what I call house on.

Danny Ward playing for the Foxes here. Can't remember did he leave the year Karius turned up or was it when Alisson did?

I seem to remember he wanted first team football but left to be Schmeichels backup.

He left just before Alisson came because the local hacks were parroting the crap we were considering him as our number 1.

Left at the start of 18/19 I think.

Not sure what the situation was -if he pushed for it, or what, cos it was a strange move for 1st team football. Maybe Liverpool pushed for it too, being as they got a great fee for a player who wasn't ever going to make it here, and isn't really very good.

Leicester have a strong squad tbf so can afford to make changes with a semi final in midweek but when even Championship teams are writing off the Fa Cup despite a sell out crowd on bbc it's a sad indictment

Yeah it’s a shame but it’s understandable. They have a real chance of making the play offs. They were due to play Forest in the League today but it’s rearranged to Tuesday and that’s a big game.

Their best two forwards aren’t even on the bench today. There’s no regular started in this line up, the only two who have featured a fair bit are Jeanvier and Mokotjo but they’ve lost their places in recent months. Of the rest I’ve only heard of Zamburek and Marcondes but they rarely ever start.

Leicester have made changes too but obviously have more depth and a few first team squad players  on show. Looks like it will be comfortable for them.

46 game season, playing a direct rival for promotion on Tuesday and a fairly small squad. It’s a shame but I guess they’re looking at the bigger picture.

yeah its totally understandable, to have a chance of promotion, and for the season where they move into their new stadium would be amazing for them.

Just makes for a shit game, but serves the league/FA/EFL/etc etc right, they want to have as many league and cup games each season, give little monetary insentives in comparison to the league, so such is life. TV company gets lumbered with what is a really dull game, played like a training match that the premier league team will stroll through easily. Not that I have any sympathy for the TV companies either, as they want these games too  :D

Leicester will need significant investment in the summer you'd say. You wouldn't want Albrighton, Gray, Choudhury, Fuchs and Morgan playing many games. They might be able to sell Gray to Matlock Town for a 4 pack of Lucozade Sport.

What a dreadful cup tie this is

Shame for Brentford to get a big home tie, on the telly, and pretty much throw it.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Fathead is going all out as he is worried he won’t be here next year especially if Saudi takeover was true. He is reaping the benefits of Benitez solid defence this year but it won’t be the same next year as the players are coached out of it.
