Any lively pubs near Farborough
« on: October 20, 2016, 09:19:26 am »
I'm stuck here on a training session, and apparently the 'only' pub here , the swan is rather quiet.
Are there any lively pubs in the area, don't mind driving , say 30 mins away.  I'm thinking Guldford is my best bet?
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.

Do you mean Farnborough?

Stay away from Aldershot it's full of troops! :wave

Camberley is ok the troops there are better behaved, Woking and Guildford are good shouts too!

Lovely boozer - It's in Fleet, about 10 minutes drive from you - few quid in a taxi if you wanted a sherry.

Just realised you said 'lively', read it as lovely - It's popular but it's very much a pub as opposed to a bar.

Much appreciated , by myself and the South African delegates I'll drag along!

I think they are more intersted in a pub than a bar, so should be good.
