Thanks very much really appreciated. Looking at driving to London and flying directly in on the Tuesday and back late Thursday . Around £400 flights SAW airport and hotel in Beşiktaş for 2 nights.

Finally booked , went for direct flights with Pegasus from Stansted on the 13th at 17.00 arrive arriving 22:45 at SAW and 2 nights bed and breakfast at the Palazzo Donizetti in Beyoglu . Return 15th at 20.55 arriving at 23.00 cost £375 and sorted transfers over there with GetTransfers for £48 return. So just petrol for drive to airport and back and parking for airport however am looking at parkonmydrive or justpark, has anyone ever used them please?

You can't just pay £10 on arrival like you used to, you need to obtain an eVisa beforehand at a cost of $20:

i was able to buy one at the airport (antalya i think) on way back from kiev

Foreign office website says you can still pay at point of entry but recommendeds getting a visa in advance

As per the Foreign Office its £20 !, should be VISA free with a ticket

Alternatively, until further notice you can get a multiple entry sticker visitor visa, valid for 90 days, on arrival at any port of entry on payment of £20 in cash (Scottish and Northern Irish currency is not accepted). However, as the visa on arrival service is likely to be phased out at some point in the near future, we recommend you get an e-Visa

Had email about collection in Istanbul, but it’s a different block and and seat number to the one I booked and have in my purchase history. Should be B110 row 4 yet it says B111 row 11. Anybody else had this? Will have give them a call tomorrow.

Haha, same here. I've got purchased under Berik-something. Not the same seats, or block, but right name on the collection form. I guess it's best to call them tomorrow. It's always something, isn't it? ...
