It`s glandular fever, the "kissing disease".

Indeed. That's what I said.

Sounds like another Thursday night thriller. That play on 4th down looks like one of those where everyone calls the OC a genius if it comes off and a complete bellend if it doesn't.

Just watched the highlights and at one point it looked like a compilation of Cam Newton sacks and overthrows.

I've got tickets for the return fixture at Spurs ground in October.  Starting to wish I'd opted for the Bears v Raiders the week before.

Looked a shitshow of a game last night. That behind qb camera horrendous too.

Can overthrew more than completed. Is he nearly finished? If take away his dual threat he's a very average qb.

I think they said that they had only two working cameras the entire night. As for Cam, definitely not 100% healthy and I'm surprised so many people thought this was going to be an easy win for the home team

Speaking of this, if anyone wants a good chuckle look at Cam Newton's fashion choice for his press conference. :lmao

I remember, I think there was a big game last season that you had settled into watching and I was following on here, and he was awful ;)

Oh right yeah I remember that.

The thing is either Cam or Ron has made a conscious decision to protect Cam by not running at all, which takes away one of his biggest weapons in the game, which leaves a below average QB. I mean half a yard to go to get either the first down or punch it into the endzone for the win and they decide to let McCaffery run it out wide (who had been shutdown the entire game).

9 times out of 10 they give it Cam but not this year.

It's so stupid.

I for one am shocked that a QB who was hurt and missed games last season and had two shoulder surgeries post-season can't throw the ball anymore.

No reason why they can't ask him to do QB sneaks though.  If he can't throw or run in short yardage situations, what good is it starting him?
It's a pity, cos Cam at his peak had a great deep throw. His spirals were a thing of beauty.

He's clearly not fit. Apparently he did lob his longest throw for ages though, so that's something.

If he can't throw the ball anymore then there's really no point in playing him.

Just watched the complete rerun game, & some awful officiating in the game as well, not least the none call for at best illegal contact, at worst PI, Cam definitely doesn't look like his usual self, Panthers already up against it, 0-2 after 2 home games.

Minkah Fitzpatrick has been given permission to seek a trade. With 4 years left on his current rookie deal there should be a fair few admirers.

Edit: They're supposedly asking for a 2nd round pick.

Stocking up on draft picks is fine, but you do actually need some players to add them to.

They're going to waste their next QB's rookie contract trying to build something.

Can’t stand it when teams openly tank like this.

Flores may well lose his job after a year.

I reckon flores is fine. The decision to tank has come from above him and everyone knows it. If anything they'll get even more abuse if they get rid of him.

There's tanking and theirs TANKING.

16 blowouts will be hard to keep him as can't motivate or game plan to even be competitive.

Won't lose by more than 17 this week anyway so it's moot.

Tunsil didn't like but price was huge, Minkah for day 2 pick be pretty awful. Need 52 other plays every week even if have a transcendent QB.

Antonio Brown declined to sign a $2 million-plus agreement with Britney Taylor to settle a sexual assault allegation made by the wide receiver's former trainer, sources told ESPN's Jeff Darlington.

Brown had a deadline last Sunday night to sign the settlement agreement before Taylor's attorneys sought to file their civil lawsuit against him. After Brown didn't sign off on the settlement, the suit was filed Tuesday.
