Yeah real crap this year.

Gruden has been good to watch but aside from that it’s been terribly bland.

Rams sort out Goff extension

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
Compensation update: Rams are giving QB Jared Goff a four-year, $134 million extension that includes an NFL-record $110 million guaranteed, per source. It ties him to LA through 2024 season.

Hard Knocks has been absolutely terrible this year.  No characters of interest, skipped over all the Antonio Brown stuff without showing the real conversations, and Gruden hogging all the limelight.

Knock on wood if you agree.

The Raiders didnt want to be on this show. I think that`s reflected in the output. It`s good for the team that there was no real drama despite the show makers wanting to make some; the whole Keelan Doss storyline was just that. They built him up as potential star, knocked down Marcel Atemann, but didnt show Doss`s failings. It`s no accident Gruden went with the veterans and his draft picks.

BBC NFL Show started again the other night. Good to have it back.   Osi Umenyiora stopped just short of calling Baker Mayfield a total prick :)

Also I didn't know I could watch College football on BTsport/ESPN.  Watched Notre Dame@Louisville last night.  Good stuff.

I'm not an expert on NFL, I know enough but not enough to be confident.

I'm in a comp in work and am genuinely stuck on two picks for the season;

MVP

and most TD's (Just a quick clarification, the “Most TDs – Player” category is for the player scoring the Touchdown)

MVP I was going with Patrick Mahomes, but most TD's - I am stumped.

Can anyone give me a few pointers or suggestions please?

Can most TD’s include quarterbacks?

You need to clarify that for defo mate.  If the QB throwing the touch down pass counts then you will 100% need to pick a QB

If its the actual player that has the ball in the End Zone for the Touchdown that counts,  then it will be one of the stud WR or RB you need to pick

Yep, guess no team wants to be on Hard Knocks, but felt forced to, think the main issue is when coaches release players from the team, compare that to Amazon Prime's All Or Nothing, some teams seem quite happy to be featured on there, Carolina Panthers from last season being the latest.

The lads response......

"You absolutely can pick a QB, it’s just that it would be an incredibly bold decision.

But for context LDT has the single season record of 31 touchdowns, last two season the leading TD scorer was Tod Gurley with 19 and 21.  A QB has never scored more than 14 (that was Cam Newton in 2011).

Up to you

I will feel an absolute fool if it does happen now though"

Crazy how he seems intent on sabotaging his own career.

I couldn't believe we only got a 3rd and a 5th for the best receiver in the game on a bargain contract but I guess this is why.

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
The Next Chapter: Antonio Brown and GM Mike Mayock got into it Wednesday, and the team is now planning to suspend its star wide receiver, league sources tell ESPN.

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
Antonio Brown posted the fine letter on social media that Raiders’ GM Mike Mayock sent him. It led to an exchange, which is now leading to further discipline. This is not going away anytime soon.

This is going to end with the Raiders cutting him, everyone declaring Brown to be a locker room cancer, then the Pats will pick him up for minimum salary and him winning a ring after a Randy Moss 2007-type season.

argument between Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown and General Manager Mike Mayock didn’t get physical, but it included the threat.

Rapoport said that after screaming at each other Brown told Mayock that he’d hit him in the face, then punted a nearby football and said “Fine me for that.”

I'm not an expert on NFL, I know enough but not enough to be confident.

I'm in a comp in work and am genuinely stuck on two picks for the season;

MVP

and most TD's (Just a quick clarification, the “Most TDs – Player” category is for the player scoring the Touchdown)

MVP I was going with Patrick Mahomes, but most TD's - I am stumped.

Can anyone give me a few pointers or suggestions please?

Drew Brees MVP and Alvin Kamara TD’s
