Had a weird dream the other night.  From what I can remember, I was in a car on my way to a match with a mate, Pepe and Coates.  I asked Coates where we were going and Pepe had a go at me, telling me I had to call him Sebastian.  I then remembered I had to get some shorts and shinpads so we stopped off at JJB.  This is where Coates and Pepe left my dream for some reason.  I remember JJB just sold shoes for some reason, so I had to get some from a charity shop.  That's the last thing I remember, being in a charity shop with my mate buying some football shorts.   ???

I keep having a reoccuring dream of having to re sit a my leaving cert maths or a college maths exam. I havem't studdied for it and it's on in a few minutes and I'm freaking out. And even in my dream I realise I'm out of college and I don't need to do it then I wake up.

This again for me, I have this dream too. nearly exactly as above.

I also have one where I return to work in my first proper job I had, its the present time but my old job and I like it but I somehow just arrive in the place and im working and im wondering why people are not asking me what im doing there, they seem to accept me or so I think but to me ive just been beamed there!

I always have an 'end of the world' recurring dream where I try to survive, but I die every time. The world is always ending in the same way - but the fun thing about it is that I know I've had the dream before, so I dream up a completely different survival plan each time because I can remember all the ways that failed previously.

It's like I'm stuck in some weird trial and error puzzle video game and I can't find a walkthrough on google.

my girlfriend had a tattoo on the outside of her shoulder that was a simple set of dots to make a triangle with simplistic lettering on the inside that said American Girl.
Neither of us have tattoos or even like them and its such a weird dream.

I had not turned up for my O'Levels which were being held in my last place of work.

But my current boss was working there, and I had to give a good excuse why I hadn't turned up.

Then I realised I had already done these and passed them years ago.

Then I woke up.

Very similar trend to one I've been having and Mentioned already. I copied and pasted from my FB
Ok, if anyone can interpret this dream I'd greatly appreciate it. I was mitching my leaving cert exams in Maynooth with my brothers and a Saudi prince drinking in a pub. We were having a great time when a teacher came to find me to go and do my exam. The Saudi prince became infatuated with her and invited us all on his yacht that was moored in the bit of water near Maynooth train station so he could try and score her.

The Prince told me I had to meet his Asian friend who we ended up having the banter with. Turns out it was Psy. We were all congratulating him on Gangam style and how it went viral and he was loving it. I told him that he needed to check out this new thing that was happening and that he would love it. So, I took him to a GAA club while he was drinking cans the whole time and was plastered. I showed him a guy who was playing T-Pain take your shirt off on the trumpet. The two of them hit it off and as I left them they were starting on doing Aphex twin collaborations together.

My teacher then caught up with me and was heading off to marry the Saudi Prince and because I hooked them up she was giving me straight A's which was great as my Dad was giving me money for every A I got to have a trip around Italy. Psy and the Trumpet guy tweeted me afterwards that i had to meet them in Capri when I got there for a session.

Have recurring dreams quite a lot. I used to work at Manchester Airport, so could be related to that, but often dream:

a) very random plane crashes, especially when they've just taken off or are coming in to land
b) that I've given up my job (although I don't have one at the moment), and have gone back to work at the airport for a fraction of the wages I am (was) on

Often dream about going back to work at old jobs for some reason; maybe because I enjoyed them or something. I would add that I started taking prozac about 3 years ago, and since then, my dreams have been very real. Almost like I'm living a second life in my dreams

A couple of months ago I had about three plane crash dreams in a couple of weeks.

Really horrible, there was one where we had just taken off and we were flying over New York City (I know....) but we got to a certain height, and then it just nosedived and was plummeting down. There was another one as well where it just nosedived. I always wake up before it crashes.

The New York one was a couple of days after we'd decided to go to Orlando this year instead of New York. And if you go on one of these dream analysers, it means plans not working out how you'd hoped. Which fits.

Just had the weirdest dream I've ever had. I was approached by Alan Shore (not James Spader, Alan Shore - I asked) who naturally flew in on a helicopter to see me. He told me that they had found an unreleased Nirvana song and they wanted me to make the music video for it. It was supposed to be black & white reincarnation of famous .gifs and it had a contractually binding agreement that it had to feature a goat every 6 minutes or face a penalty of losing my fingers.

In return for making this music video I would get the gate to MC Hammer's house, the goat that would be used in the video and a secret password on youtube that would enable me to set 'Gangnam Style' as the audio folder on every single video. Alan Shore then transformed into Uncle Ben from the first Spiderman  movie and said "with great power comes great responsibility" - turned to ash and floated away with the wind. I was overcome with grief and shouted at him in what I think was Klingon. The shock of then being able to speak Klingon woke me up.

I felt very, very confused.

Used to dream loads, but I've just earlier on today had the first vivid dream I remember having in quite a while, and it was pretty mad/awesome!

I was being shown round this houseboat/submarine by some guy in his early 20s (who in this dream universe was apparently a close friend of mine, but I honestly haven't a clue now who he could be, even though his face is very distinct and he had a sort of laconic American Midwest accent), and I felt like I was around that age too, late teens-early 20s. At first, it was just like being shown the designs, exploring a model of it on a computer, but then it turned out I was actually there in person on the submarine thing checking it out, on the ocean in the early evening as the sky was just growing darker. I remember feeling hugely impressed, and it was all dead atmospheric.

Anyway, we went downstairs from this very houseboaty deck, past the houseboat-cum-submarine control room with a big ship's steering wheel and periscope and everything, to a cabin deep in the submarine. There we found this odd skinny American student guy in a blue t-shirt with a fat black woman in a skimpy glittery dress, presumably a prozzy, who'd apparently slipped aboard during one of our many 'stops'(?). My friend & I took the guy back to deck (which was now the top part of a submarine, and not a boat at all) to have a stern word, and we just left the large lady-of-the-night down in the cabin on her own, for some reason. With the rain pelting down and the sea rocking us, the student guy explained he just wanted to spend the night with a fat black chick on a submarine, 'cause he was planning on killing himself afterwards... which made perfect sense to us. So we both agreed to help him top himself. He seemed very grateful and emotional, even though the bonny girl didn't appear in the 'narrative' again, so it turns out he didn't get his last wish at all  :P

During the course of taking him down to the edge of the craft to jump in the sea, we were then apparently not on a submarine anymore but a massive abandoned oil rig, and my friend was not in fact trying to help the guy do himself in, but was instead mischeivously hunting him with 2 other guys, all with Nerf guns. The guy ran down one of the concrete-and-rust corridors and the other two fellas chased after him, but as my friend - who was now a pretty girl in her teens/early 20s, in a WWII pilot's jacket - was casually walking after them, she suddenly turned and started chasing me, firing Nerf pellets at me, giggling at me cheekily. I'd been about 10 yards behind them on my old high school field (we were no longer on an oil rig above the sea, but the oil rig was just like an abandoned industrial building sat on my school field) and I ran the other way, getting pelted with these spongy little Nerf bullets, laughingly going "ow! ouch!" and all that. I could see the fenced concrete tennis courts and playground & high school building in the distance, but no one was there, it was just me and this apparent girlmate of mine messing about on the field, which was absoluely massive.

I then suddenly discovered I had a Supersoaker in my hand though, with a sort of neon yellow gunge in it, and I started chasing after her, gunging her, her laughing and going "ew!" and all that. I think I woke up then, in the middle gunging her with my flourescent yellow goo all over her brown leather pilot's outfit with a pump-action plastic grey-and-lilac Supersoaker, me wearing this sort of old Navy peacoat with yellow sponge nerf bullets stuck to it, both of us giggling away. All terribly Freudian I guess; I actually woke up giggling.

I'm only putting it here 'cause I wanted to write it down somewhere - not because there's anything remotely clever and worth remembering about any of the tale it told, but because it just felt absolutely awesome, so young and joyful. The houseboat/sub/oilrig on the ocean bits were so incredibly atmospheric... I would really fucking love to actually live for a bit on a submarine or an abandoned oil rig like that. And then the 'coda', with the messing about having fun with toy guns on my old school field with this girl [who moments before in the narrative had been a lad, but they didn't look anything alike - it was just sort of the similar soul in different bodies or some shit - and defo wasn't a tranny or whatever, but a proper lovely girl-next-door type, whose face & voice I sort of recognise, but I've never met or seen?!? Maybe I'm gay now], that was just beautiful; nostalgic, romantic, and just really daft & funny. I woke up feeling dead young and giggly, then realised I was back in the here-and-now again, and my heart sank.  ;D

I can't even begin to adequately describe how vivid and immersive it all was - the visual tones, the smells, the emotions I felt inside, everything rendered in deep detail from the designs of the clothes they were wearing to the peeling rust on the oil rig's scaffolding. Cannot recall having a dream quite that strongly 'realised' for quite some time. So... yeah.

Constantly have a dream about my teeth falling out. Firstly I would grind them, then one would come loose and I'd pull it out then the rest would just be falling out. Been happening for about 3 months now, once every couple of weeks.

Googled it and it said it could be money related which sounds correct enough but why teeth!!

I've had that multiple times and so has my mum - apparently it's a classic stress dream, don't think it necessarily has to be about money. Coincidentally, I also grind my teeth at night.

I've had some very odd dreams these past few months. It seems every night I put myself into some scenario where I have to find a map while a crazy murderer chases me, or save someone while they're being guarded by some sort of demon. They're all game like, which is weird because I don't really play video games anymore. Sometimes I'm just being chased and always seem to be within inches of my life, with that desperate, pleading fear you would feel if someone had a gun or knife pointed at you and you had no defense and seconds away from death. I can't remember too many specifically, but there have been a few times I wake up and am just in this awful mood for the next hour, still convincing myself it was just a nightmare.

I was dreaming I was a bus driver the other night. I was driving this empty bus approaching a busy bus stop when it suddenly dawned on me that I didnt know how to work the ticket machine. The plan was to tell the people at the bus stop to just get on the bus while I go and see someone to fix the 'broken' machine and scarper leaving the bewildered passengers without a driver, however I woke up before the bus reached the stop.
So whats all that about???

i’ve always been a bit of a crap sleeper, I’d wake up disorientated and completely out of it for about 30 minutes after waking up, and get really dehydrated. But in the last few months it’s been so much worse! I keep having horrible dreams, often about family and friends trying to kill me, or something completely disgusting and out of the blue.

Like, I remember one recently, where some of my friends were sleeping in our living room, and my mum got pissed at me for something (idk), and came after me trying to hurt me, so I ran out the house. And I crossed the road and there was a man following me, and when I turned back around he was wearing a dress, and then I was sick and immediately woke up. When I woke up I thought I had actually been sick, but turns out I wasn’t. But I was trying to sleep in my dream, but I was aware I was dreaming, and I tried to wake myself up because the dream was horrible by throwing myself all over the place and it was horrific.
Pretty happy with Arse taking it.

I think i need to stay out of the rafa thread! Had a dream he was after taking over a park or something like that and he had two grizzly bears walking around with him.The grizzlys walked on their hind legs so they were huge. And he communicated with them by striking poses, like yoga poses and kung fu ones  :o
Still bothers me this. Remember it fairly vividly too. It was a park, got the feeling it was a private place, that type of lark as i remember he was on the other side of railings, and acknowleding people on the outside.
Im now taking this to mean rafa taking over the chelsea job, and the bears symbolised Abramovich (the russian bear), maybe the kung fu poses were the fighting to win over the chelsea fans  :lmao

Woke up one morning and the missus was in a proper mood.
In response to my enquiry about her state of mind she asked me what the f*ck last night was all about?

I think back......
I'm in a deep hole trying to climb out but the sides are collapsing in and the top is closing.
After what seems an eternity I manage to get near the top only to find some unknown assailant trying to push me back down.  I want to scream at them to stop but no sound comes out.

As this would-be-murderer is pushing down on me I grab them to stop myself from falling back in - knowing that if I do I'll be buried alive.

Turns out the missus grabbed me in an attempt to wake me up - probably right about the time I made it to the top of the hole in my dream.

I then proceeded to straddle her and basically wrapped my hands around her throat.
Said bird's life flashes before her eyes before I decide to relinquish my hold on her and calmly lay back down to continue my slumber.

In my defence she did say that I didn't squeeze and that I appeared to be trying to get away from her.....

The case against me is that this is not an isolated incident and the missus feels she has to sleep with a screwdriver under her pillow.

Anyway, off to bed - goodnight folks !

Could be that a ghost witch is haunting your dreams. Which might be tricky to believe, as neither ghosts or witches have, or do, exist. Although it could be a double negative becoming a positive, like a double myth becoming a fact. I'd also watch out for the loch ness monster delivering easter eggs in a few months, and the infamous Abominable Santa.

Alternatively, maybe you just saw a video about a witch and the thought got lodged in your brain and manifested itself in a dream?

I don't remember much in life and don't really dream now as the smoke keeps it down, but a dream that has stuck with me since I was around 14/15 is this.

Some friends and I were inside this extremely large oval room, all the walls were metal plates and bolts and there were sealed pipes every few metres around the top of the room. Like being inside a gigantic metal egg.

This screen the descends from the ceiling on a metal pole, and who else but Dr Robotnik shows their face. I don't remember if he said anything but I remember him laughing, then all the pipes at the top of the room open up, only for liquid shit to start pumping out filling the egg up like a Saturday morning Glasto Portaloo.

Strange.

Just had the most bizarre dream. I was at Craven Cottage for Fulham v Liverpool when in the first half news filtered through that Trevor McDonald died. The half-time whistle blows and people start making their way to the bar, but a hearse comes along inside the stand which is obviously Sir Trev, with his crying family in the back. It stops and a few of us decide to get in and get a lift to the bar but it drives out of the stadium where a procession is lining the streets for him. Myself and other LFC fans are laughing so much we can't speak to let anyone know we are still in the back of the hearse. It stops at a red light so we jump out and leg it back to the stadium for the second half, where Xabi Alonso puts us 1-0 up! Mental!

Had a dream last night that I was sitting in the pub, when a suited and booted Luis Suarez comes over and asks if I fancy a game of darts. I tell him I can't play but I want to play, so we go looking for a free dartboard, but there were none.

EDIT: It seems darts/dartboards are to do with career worries/aims.

This has been happening in my dreams the past year or so. It's weird never really acknowledged it before, but today realized it reoccurs almost nightly.

In many of my dreams, especially in certain scenarios (talking to my boss, seeing family, getting into a fist fight, etc) I'm in a state of utter exhaustion, similar to how one might act right before blacking out drunk. Nearly impossible to  keep my eyes open (in the dream), completely out of energy in some helpless position on the ground, any move I make drains me even more. It's always in a situation where that would be an awful state to be in too. I have the dreams sometimes after drinking, sometimes completely sober.

Today in particular I took a nap for an hour and had decent energy but knew I needed sleep, had that happen in the dream, and woke up in a much more exhausted state. I work a fairly physically demanding job too, just been in another world since I woke up from the nap. I'm guessing it has some obvious meaning like more natural sleep, just seems odd I can't snap out of that mode in my dream.

Another thing, never been in a fist fight in my life yet I have that in a dream every few nights or so.

I've had a few dreams where (if I'm remembering correctly) I've recited poetry or spoken far more eloquently than I could ever do in 'real life'. What the fuck is that all about?

Had a dream my cousin was a competitive Nintendo 64 player in North Korea. After the tournament was over I was invited to a street court to watch Kim Jong Un play a Llama (wearing a Miami Heat jersey) at 21. Seemed perfectly reasonable
