DHL or TNT Dave?
Via London, Manchester velodrome and Grenoble. Sky Team stylee. ;D

Exercise is to the body what reading is to the mind.

"If I hadn't doped, I would never have won". "Doping improves your performance between 5 and 7 per cent, and maybe 10 to 12 per cent when you are in a peak shape.

"Doping isn't addictive but it's an instrument of power: whoever wins attracts the money; for themselves, the team and the sponsors"

I hope they keep Minichiello on for future champs cos he's been a breath of fresh air.

Michael Johnson and Paula Radcliffe are spot on talking about it just now. If they were just open and honest about what was going on and provided clear reasons and explanations for their decision then there would be none of this farcical situation where you have the athlete saying he's fine and yet he's been told he's not allowed to race.

Cheers.

I hope they keep Minichiello on for future champs cos he's been a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, he's been good. Michael Johnson's excellent too. In fact, all of them are pretty good I think, especially when they're talking about the technical aspects of the sport - given it's an individual sport, you'd expect them to know these things. Although maybe I don't know enough about athletics to find them as wrong as I do the likes of Lawrenson and Murphy.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

I did track and field for 20 years and have watched since and there's never been anyone so technical ive heard on any commentary on tv and, more importantly,  critical. Johnson is the same, says how it is and if they're US he is even more critical.

Been great hasn't he. Really knows his stuff and doesn't sugar coat the performances of the British athletes like a few of the BBC regulars.
I've just wiped the sticky residue from my bellend onto the television screen. Taste it Leo. You deserve it.
I would honestly let Wijnaldum jizz in my face right now

Well, the Botswana top boy is painting the IAAF in an incredibly bad light. Apparently hes still allowed to pal around with other athletes given hes really so sick but he cant enter the stadium where he wont be really anywhere in very close proximity to others plus its outdoors. Im gobsmacked, MJ asking the right questions.

Shouldn't be surprised, but IAAF are handling this so badly, and little or no communication

Medical team member from Botswana says he's fine and that there was no one present when the medical examination was supposed to have been completed. Absolutely bizarre what's going on.

Can't really argue with a PB in a World final. Of course it looked like he gave himself too much to do but he ran his own race, which is often what you just need to try and do in a final, and it was a fraction of a second off being enough. Bodes well for the future!
