If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Well if they say it's a sport then it's a sport. Just because we might not like something being called a sport (chess for example) it doesn't give our opinion any credence.

It's actually very easy to do.

Coppi.
Bartali.
Merckx.
Hinault.

We should disregard every rider that belongs to Gen EPO and whilst that precludes the likes of Contador, I feel it's correct to do so..actually, not disregard more...asterix those wins. Some riders like Contador would still have 9 GT's if all the peloton was clean.....riders like Armstrong Wiggins, Riis, Evans, Froome...there's just five  riders and 14 GT's that would be beyond those riders as without the peds avaiable they'd have a grand total of zero GT's to their names.

The four riders above..not one of them is clean...maybe Gino..but...the difference being they won in a time when the ped playing field was level and with or without they'd still be the best riders in their times. Coppi and Bartali, Bartali especially were unlucky that their most productive periiod was taken away by WW2....one, Coppi was a POW barber..the other...well as you know, there's not many Italian cyclists who were given the honour, Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem.
Exercise is to the body what reading is to the mind.

"If I hadn't doped, I would never have won". "Doping improves your performance between 5 and 7 per cent, and maybe 10 to 12 per cent when you are in a peak shape.
