There isn't really any news to speak of. Also what constitutes transfer news these days isn't very clear cut. Until a transfer is completed and announced, you have everything from Twitter ITKs (varying from chancers with 2,000 followers to Fabrizio Romano) publishing gossip as fact, to "journalists" publishing speculation and non-news. This summer, the amount of useful content from people you'd regard as providing actual news is basically nil. Just occasional lists of targets, with musings about how many players we will or won't sign.
Reopening the news forum just means another thread to moderate, as it ends up in discussions about what constitutes news and always ends up in chatter.
