I downloaded "Hell Let Loose" for the X/S, they have a free ten hours play at the moment. It`s a WW2 military simulator. No HUD, no enemies handily spotted on your mini-map. It reminds me of "Squad" in terms of play and playing roles: you join infantry, recon or armor squads and take a role to help your team, such as engineer, support, medic etc. It`s incredibly immersive, huge maps (Omaha, Utah, Hill 400, Carentan, St.Mere Eglise etc) and I can see getting to competency being a long way off. The better games I`ve been in have been those with your team making good use of VOIP. You can`t run across a field, it`s practically one shot, one kill, so I spent a lot of time in hedgerows. I`m leaning towards getting the full game. I played a game of BFV straight after and that game is so much faster, but a completely different beast. It reminds me of a pretty old PC game where you spawned into barracks and there was a lot of pixel hunting going on, but I can`t recall the name.
