Every year, since I was little, I've had a small hankering for an LFC v Northampton match. I'm from Numptytown like John Hall is, and at each roll of the balls either for a league cup or an FA Cup draw, I've been hoping for this pairing. It's rare that Northampton are in the hat at this stage and to tell the truth I've never really that arsed but it was always one of those things that 'would have been nice', like seeing your sisters best friend lift up a skirt during a picnic or some such.

The Numpt drew the Mancs some while back in a cup game and it was a fixture that drew some blood from my teeth I have to say, but it questioned a few things. I went to the live projection of said match in a local public house. They had an offer going whereby I could watch the match for free. But I was there cheering on on an empty stomach... like its always been maybe.

But I've always hoped for a Numpt v LFC match to ignite a barbeque and a free whoring a drug session in our small but happy garden.
