We seem to be missing width..pace on the wings...and we simply can't keep possession of the ball...it's all Man Utd thus far in the match.

Rooney pushes the Referee as he confronts the referee....

This is worrying.... thegoodfella thinks we are getting over run (totally agree) and Torres simply can't get the ball from anyone in midfield...(agree!)

Cole and Torres are simply NOT in the match..are being closed down and not getting the kind of service they are used to...

Gerrard in the middle of the park does not seem to have the influence we hoped it would, it seems...

We are inviting MORE pressure..we are sitting WAY deep in our half..and inviting the crosses...this could be one of the reasons why our midfield/forward line are isolated and not getting the service they need...

It's simply all Man Utd thus far after 30 minutes..

Playing a bit better now

Torres almost having a chance in the area, Cole has moved out to the left, and its helped us immensely already. This seemed to be the same problem against Steaua nobody had any clue on the direction, position they were meant to be playing, with cole moving to the left, we're getting a little more on the ball, and the space seems to be opening up just a little bit more

Man U stroking the ball across the back and it's up at Nani's feet...fine interception by Skerts from Berbatove and the ball is up into the Man Utd half and guess what, it's back down in a flash at the feet of a Man U player...

That's pretty much how it's been thus far in a disappointing half for Liverpool FC....

Berbatov with a "clear" header...with Torres marking him...and allowing him to lean forward to nod the ball in....probably the easiest goal Berbatov has scored in awhile..

We are approaching half time and a goal down!

Well, the problem isn't our back line. It's where we are parked. We are sitting too deep, and inviting the pressure. Until we push up, and close up the gaps between midfield and attack, this match is going only 1 way....

Poulsen, Gerrard are getting over run...Cole has had 1 touch of the ball thus far..Torres maybe four touch's....it's been THAT BAD.

This is a lot more depressing to watch than the Birmingham match to be honest.
