We're are after him as well. So is Man Utd and Arsenal. Chelsea aren't the only ones.

But under the rules Kendry Páez, whomever gets him, won't see him come to England until 2025 when he turns 18.

I think people in the media think because of all the money they have spent, sooner or later it's just going to click for them. It may well do, but that's just as likely as it never clicking for them at all, because they've gone and bought themselves a load of really expensive duds.

Chelsea going back to the level of club we remember fondly before the Putin Lapdog bloodsoaked Aluminium Wars Siberian Mobster turned up.

Mid table midiocrity with a shit stadium, and hopefully go back to winning about 5 cups in 8 decades again.

What's the general feeling on the players they bought? Mostly overpriced? Or is there a good chance they are worth their fee but just aren't gelling? Eg everyone knows utd overpaid for slab head. Sancho seemed a lot but not a huge overpayment. Grealiah say somewhere in between.
( I have no idea who they bought let alone if considered good value)

Lost £121m 21/22 depite making a profit on player sales.

Going to be such a big loss this year and next with no UCL.

They are not meeting FFP.

Well I wonder if Man City being charged and the Everton situation may have scared them a bit. They will be looking a huge losses even if they have spread transfers so far over 7 years. They are still £100m down before they even start each season.

That £121m loss was them making £5m profit on players. So if they don't sell lots of players in the summer they'll be looking at a £200m+ loss 22/23.

I see they have already started excuses about the sanctions costing them money. I'm sure they'll use that.

Well they are saying they had to buy Fofana and Koulibaly becuase of the sanctions as they couldn't renew rudiger or christensen. 100% they will try that one when it comes to their FFP position. Because yes losing those meant you HAD to spend £130m on two players. If the league accept that it's 100% corruption.

Why don't they just admit they don't have the Siberian mafia boss to cover the losses anymore.

Looks like they have a love affair with Mr. Taylor like we do..

Anthony Taylor has been appointed as the referee for next Tuesday's match between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. This has led to Blues supporters expressing their anger at the decision after the official has been at the centre of various controversies involving Chelsea matches.

I think he was the one who sent Reece James off at Anfield for handball on the line. Most people would have grudgingly accepted that handball on the line is a red, but for some reason, it really got to Chelsea fans.

Its not really that much of a loss, they signed franchise players like Mudryk, once he wins the ballon dor, shirt sales alone will get them all their money back.
Needs to get a game first though, but they got him for 8 years so the future is sorted.

I genuinely don't understand their thinking with their Jan transfers.

Okay so you've spread the cost over 7 years to dodge FFP stuff but doesn't that sort of mean that you can now not buy players easily in that period?

Seems like a plan with no forward thinking at all.

They lost a few million from about 3-4 games with limited capacity and 4 months of commercial revenues, oh and they had to pay for their own travel to 2 away legs in the CL.

To say that the ramifications of sanctions will affect them for a few more years is utter BS.

The losses in the next 2 results will be at Barcelona levels, going to be beautiful to see what happens as the sanctions line they used is pathetic and doesn't work, this Hedge Fund that own them will have to see returns soon, i'll be expecting a fire sale like those hedge funds who own American sports team do when the shit hits the fan.

I wish Javier Tebas was in charge of the PL, he would have dealt with City, Everton years ago.
