PC Gaming Sales thread - Steam Sale 2017 - June 22nd to July 5th
« on: December 20, 2010, 06:37:12 pm »
Edit 23/06/16 - Changed the title of this to "PC Gaming Sales thread" - there's plenty more stores with deals just as good or even better than Steam these days.

First post updated with today's daily deals now Steam's recovered enough to show us them.

Battlefield, Super Meat Boy and possibly Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath for me today I think :)

C&C4 (Tiberian Twilight) is the most recent one, it's £14.99 on Steam.
C&C3 (Tiberium Wars) is £11.24.

I'd wait to see if they get further discounts as daily deals first before you buy one though :)

Edit: Indie Packs added to the first post. Some great deals there if you don't own any of the games in the packs.

Anyone ever played Sim City 4? I loved S.C. 2000 but never played any of the sequels, I'm wondering if it's worth a go. I suppose for a fiver it doesn't even matter!

Even more offers on today until Jan 2nd.

Pick a few bargains up myself. The list of unplayed Steam games continues to grow apace!

Today's deals added to the first post :)

Nothing for me today, but that's mainly because I already own all of the ones I'd want to buy  :-[

Some very good games there though, particularly The Witcher, Lara Croft GoL and Defense Grid.

So what's people's Steam names then? Mine's whiteylfc

I played through that Lara Croft GoL game with my missus and we loved it, i think it's much better than the normal Tomb Raider games actually. Reccomended! (on co-op at least.. I'm not sure what it's like single player)

Have decided to buy Civ IV (I already have it but a dodgy version, I think it's about time I got the legal one, what with it being one of the best games of all time.. ) and I'm going to give Sim City 4 a go

Today's deals up :)

I'm tempted to buy Spore, especially as it's only around £11.50 with the expansion pack.

At £5, Just Cause 2 is a must-buy if you have any interest in open-world sandbox games and your PC can run it.

Obviously less people are playing it online than there are playing MW2 or Black Ops, but there's still a few hundred been playing it today according to Steam, and that number should only increase with this sale.

Unbelievably, MW2 is still 40 quid, so for a quarter of the price MW1 seems like a good deal.
