You’re a year out on those first two. It’s was 76/77 and 77/78.

I well knew that, I bloody watched every one of those finals, Fucking brain is addled these days, although I was typing fast and pissed off that Neal had been excluded  >:(  :butt

Came on here to see if Thiago is back in training. Instead see a load of shite about Samuel Eto'o.

He's on the plane though eh?

Even if he wasn’t fit, he’d still be on the plane… wouldn’t he?

Hate to be a misery but have just seen a flurry of tweets where people are celebrating him making it onto the plane and I just didn’t think that’s as any indication…

Like Fabinho travelling with the squad to the FA Cup final.

Logic suggests it's Fabinho Hendo Keita midfield. It's not a game of football manager where you give someone an injection and it's all good. I suspect Thiago will be on the bench though.

He trained Wednesday afternoon and yesterday. Klopp said he had a good chance and the injury was not as bad as first feared. He starts.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

We don’t know how he trained yesterday, if there was no reaction then I think he starts.

Phil Neal 76/77, 77/78,80/81, 83/84 is missing from that list

The Competition didn't start when it became the CL :butt

To be fair, they've another list further down the page with all time European Cup wins. Has Gento with 6 and a few on 5.

Still should separate them though. It's the same competition

Why would you bench him ?
If he’s passed fit he starts.
The bigger risk is bringing him on after an hour and he breaks down then -you’ve lost 2 subs

and with 5 subs allowed, then it wouldn’t be a massive issue if he couldn’t last more than a half. Hopefully he’ll be ok though, the idea Thiago wouldn’t play was a big downer on looking forward to this game!

I remember watching Thiago in the Bayern-PSG final. What a leader he was, so determined and inspirational.

We are a team of leaders, but Thiago is a huge, huge bonus... He must start.

If everyone is fit, then for me. It is the same team as the FA Cup semi-final versus City. Konate at centre back, midfield three of Fabinho, Thiago and Keita plus Diaz, Mane and Salah up top.

Just blitz them first twenty and keep Hendo in reserve.

I'm thinking we start Fab, Hendo and Thiago.

Thiago is the biggest risk of breaking down. Keita will be needed off the bench if he can't do the whole 90 or if it goes to ET (I think ET might be pushing it for Thiago).

Thiago played 120 mins against Chelsea after being on the end of a bad tackle by mount I think. He then rolled in a penalty off the post.  ;)

I think Hendo helps Trent out more than Keita would….and that may swing it for Hendo.

Also can’t see Klopp not playing his captain.
