I get that this might seem premature but he’s got 5-7 more years in his prime as a keeper and I’m pretty confident in 10 years time people will look back at his post and say ‘yup .... Jack was ahead of the curve ... he was clearly the best’

What I love about Alisson is he just looks so nonchalant, so casual, almost like in belongs in a cover band playing in the Zanzibar on a Saturday night, yet he's the best goalkeeper in world football and best of all - he's ours!

That video is roughly 10 seconds long. Therefore he probably covered the length of a field in a canter in about 12-13 seconds. Thats' pretty bloody impressive for someone 191cm and 91kg.

He’s so good that the one time he palmed away a shot (from Fred I think) it made you think it was unusual. Even then he got iso far away from goal it almost went for a throw rather than a corner. Everything he does he does for the right reason, he obviously felt he could t risk catching that one.

The assist for Mo took some balls, seconds to go and he has the confidence and skill to pull that off. If that goes wrong Utd could be on the front foot again. The nerves would be shredded in the ground.

Any other keeper in the World wastes time in this situation, cos it makes sense. Had that happened, we still win 1-0, we still get the 3 points and we'd still be 16 points clear...but fuck me Mo's goal felt like it a Title clincher in itself, then The Kop burst into 'we're gonna win the League' and collectively our rivals sink into further depression. All because of our mad keeper and one fuckin amazing assist!

He's a phenomenon. I honestly didn't understand the fuss when we thrashed Roma yet the Roma fans swore he was incredible and Roma's coach called him the "Messi of goalkeepers". That's apt really. He's so complete and so good at everything it's unreal. I honestly believe half the reason why players constantly miss chances against him is because of how big and quick he is, forcing them to go for the harder finish all the time, which is less likely to come off. He defies belief sometimes. Along with Van Dijk, I think he is one of the two once-in-a-generation players we have. Add to that, the long list of world-class talent and it's frightening how good this team is.

I love how utterly professional he is.  Like you say, cool, detached, nonchalant - then he goes and does something so utterly mental like sprinting the length of the pitch and doing kneeslides.
