This is must win. Would do so much for everyone involved with the club.
A game against the champions isn't a "must win" we must put up a good performance and a win of course a bonus but let's be realistic here.

I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.

Looking forward to it - we'll know a lot more about where we are after this game

Hope Sturridge pulls onto Vidic then runs him all day; could be a big advantage for us

Every game is must win. Especially against this lot.

Agree, very important game but we need to learn to kill off the so called smaller teams in the Prem, that's the way to amass points.

I am predicting us finishing top of the league, so this is a must win ;D

Utd will be set up to defend, so if we can push on and get a couple of goals in early it may turn out to be a big win for us.

Been looking forward to this for days, and now that it's almost here I'm bricking it for some reason.

I've gone right through the cycle of emotions, from pride and confidence to where I am now, nervousness.  I'm always a bit pessimistic, and right now if you offered me a draw I'd probably take it.

What I wouldn't give for a win, though.  9 points, top of the league, 5 points ahead of United, and announcing Sakho/Ilori after the game?  Absolutely amazing.

Nervous as fuck, if we beat them they'll be wrecked for the coming season, taking a loss from their major rivals who haven't competed for the title since 09. If they beat us, it'll be a big loss of confidence after out 100% start. Not to mention we didn't look too good midweek against Notts County. But ofcourse a completely different Liverpool usually turns up against Utd. Going for a 2-1 win to us, Sturridge on his birthday and Coutinho to grab a late one. RVP for them very late on. COME ON YOU REDMEN!!

Rooney is ruled out of today's match.

Apparently James Corden is in the directors box as a guest of Tom Werner.

In the couple of hours leading up to the game, my excitement always turns into nervousness.

I think if we keep RVP quiet, we should win this.

Really need to go up a level today compared to how we've played so far this season. In all 3 games so far we've played great for 40mins and then totally gone to shite. Can't afford to do that today. Hopefully Rodgers has worked out what's been going on with the players. We can't just rely on the atmosphere.

Kagawa will be dangerous if he plays, really rate him, although Rooney looked immense against Chelsea and its a plus to not have him playing.

Will be quite a result if we got a win sans Suarez here. Hopeful, but very, very nervous.

Apparently he wasn't on the bus with the squad, so I guess he won't be playing.
