Wrexham's ground is far too big.

It holds just below 11,000, but the terracing behind the goal is closed.

Is the terracing ever open?

How many would it hold with the terracing open?

Well when Liverpool played there in the League Cup 5th round in 1978 the attendance was 25,641.

Kenny scored a hat-trick that night. ;D

Were you there?

I was there. Wrexham played a very attractive style back in the late 70's and expected to give Liverpool a good game. Then Kenny banged in a hat trick and my interest in Liverpool started.

Great result for Wrexham today.
5th times a charm

I want to read about a Welshman reclaiming our Kop and over engineering songs we have nicked. Priorities guys

I can see Mad Max back in 1978. Can't go to the game, because he's too busy updating scores by morse code and telegram ;)

Those where the days, all matches would be 3pm kickoffs on a Saturday with midweek matches mostly 7.30pm kickoffs, had to wait for MOTD or The Big Match for highlights & no club Football live on TV apart from the cup final, European final.

How Joey Barton wasn't just sent off is a fucking joke!! Linesmen and 4th officials are fucking useless.

He trips Kayal and then Barton puts his studs onto the leg of Kayal and stamps down on it. The ref was unsighted as Kayal had his body turned but the other officials saw it clearly.
