Excellent and poor in equal measures. Nunez and Salah were poor. Nunez needs to learn how to stay onside; Salah’s passing and tackling were poor.

VVD and Gomez were excellent.

The less said about some of the refereeing decisions the better.

We need to calm down otherwise somebody will be sent off. We were the much better side and need to just keep pinging the ball around and we’ll score.

We got the penalty decision but obviously the slightly odd yellow card calls, which are objectively less significant, make the ref 'disgraceful'. The reality is, we've been poor where it's mattered. Salah can't pass, can't control it, can't take penalties. Nunez can't convert either of his 2 very good chances. Midfielders can't play easy passes to put forwards in. Trent can't be bothered to track runners (for their offside goal).

Home games are becoming set in a very obvious pattern. Create chances, miss them all, allow the other team back into it. Every game is now a slog when this should have been wrapped up by 30 minutes. So frustrating for VVD, Ali and the lads at the back.

Pressure of being top is telling. Its all far to desperate and frantic - need someone to put there foot on the ball. Cannot see us scoring unless there is a worldie a terrible error or a set piece. Newcastle could easily have scored as well. Would consider putting Elliott on for Sbozolai. Would get Jota on ASAP because Salah is his own head and Nunez is being Nunez

It's frustrating that we're seeing this pattern again despite playing well. Another goal ruled out because Nunez can't stay onside, an appalling penalty by Salah after Diaz probably could have just scored before going down for the foul that won it. Nunez missing another huge opportunity. Szobo making a mess of seemingly every pass, also taking pot shots from way out again.

Taylor is a joke, but we've only got ourselves to blame. Jota needs to come on for Nunez.
