Comfortable night, Bobby's injury the only thing to worry about. Made the group of death look like a stroll in the park.

Game petered out second half, but we could've still scored a couple more before Atletico went into damage limitation mode. We can rest some players for the last two games too which is handy, especially considering the constant knocks we seem to be picking up.

After the first half this was a walk in the park. Can't believe how many chances we wasted. In the end though we controlled the game, kept the ball and worked the clock. Can't complain. Shame about Firmino. Hope it isn't serious. This was a great result for us. We've won the group and can afford to rest our best in the two remaining games. I hope we do. Can only be a good thing to give some new players the opportunity to play CL football in San Siro and Anfield.

Great effort to win 4 out of 4 and win the group with 2 games to spare. The sending off killed the game but we already had it won. Unbeaten in 25 long may it continue. We’re so lucky right now to see this team these players.

Hope Bobby’s ok. And pleased for Ox played with a bit more of his old sparkle tonight.

Won the group after 20 minutes of the 4th game. Pipe and slippers time after that.

Simeone looked like he was going to cry at the full time whistle. Good, you and your gang of utter twats got what you deserved in that first half. Love beating that lot.

Went mental for Sadio’s goal, I was well pumped for him after being kicked to shit, ignored by the ref and generally having that lot act the twat against him for the 3rd game in a row. I’d have been giving it the hip thrusts at them if it were me.

Pity that we didn’t score the third. After that we just had a kick around. We haven’t scored a goal this season against 10 men (?).

Matip, Ox and Tsimikas all had good games. Mo at times is just incredible.

Easy win and now we can let the kids see out the group.

Nice - job done. I don't think we will play fully weakened teams in the dead rubbers, but suspect we will use it as an opportunity to use the squad in some cases. Think we might play quite a strong team in the away game against Milan though.

Loads to pick out from today, I thought Ox looked so much better on the left compared to the right. The midfield is just so much more balanced with Fabinho. Feel we could have really wracked up a cricket score there today, but we rightfully managed the game much better after our 3rd goal was chalked off from VAR compared against Brighton.

He gave their player several chances to do as he was asked and he wasn't going to stand there and have the piss taken out of him. If the referee has no authority or the players don't want to respect him then you have anarchy. Bizarre to see, but I liked it.
