Just grabbed a ticket in u1 after being straight in and seeing nothing for 15 mins or so.  My bank balance has just breathed a sigh of relief!

I think you need to raise it with SoS myself as does seem very strange, and not what these tkts were intended for. Makes me angry but I don't know enough to raise it. Good luck if someone does

If I’m right in saying only STH and us 13+ did the fan update which provided proof of address etc. Couldn’t they roll this out wider to at least people on 4+ as a start or anyone registered to an L post code?

When they were paper tickets you had to prove your address and pick up at the TO with ID, now it's just a free for all as no checks. Was even stewards checking you were the ticket holder in the ground but with distribution this is impossible.

Fan update or a manual check on the accounts would help, even if they just posted something out to verify your address.

A Captcha wouldn't hurt to get to the stadium page, this would likely help all sales.

The only way you could probably police it is to have a designated window at the ticket office to pick them up on the night.

I got some lucky dip tickets for the Rolling Stones. To stop you from touting them or at least make it more difficult to do so, you have to pick them up on the night and show your ID as they were a fraction of the price just like these

I have never been less than 10k in the queue, for this and the general sales. I am there on the dot. I am not sure how 10 thousand other people are able to click that button before me, everytime. Either I'm shite at clicking a button with a mouse or there is something dodgy going on.

It’s a a marketing ploy to sell more memberships to locals to think they have a chance of bagging a £9 ticket. It’s virtually impossible now.

And they are restricted view seats so they can't charge full price, but I know. Having said that people don't have to be a member to get one.
It seemed to work quite well at first but seems to need a review before next season.

The ones in the corners? I'm sure people have said part of the roof obscures part of the pitch. Restricted was probably the wrong word as it's not the goal mouth that you can't see, but people on here have said there are bits you can't see

I think they get away with selling them for £9 as classing them as restricted view, but its generally just one of the corner flags etc you can't see dependant on what ticket you get but technically they are restricted views.

They're going to add a small selection in the upper corners of AR when that's built I thought I read somewhere too.

You don't need to be a member for the £9 tickets.

As been said before. Worked well the 1st two or so seasons, now a shambles

And yes, restricted. For the end by the Kop you can't see the corner flag and a square of the pitch far side. Same on the other side by the Anny Road. But sound for £9!

Decent in U9 today! - Loads not locals though, Some people traveled from North Wales and got tickets of someone online
