My argument is simple, it's a nice thought to have a united ireland, most nationalists would say they want it.
However, if you said to them, well it's going to cost you a X% raise in taxes etc etc they'd say no. The reason for this is that it's just not that important. I mean look at NI now, it's very different to how it was when I was growing up there, there's equality etc etc (for the most part, it takes time).
What is the actual benefit to a NI resident to be part of the ROI? we've got equality, what's in a name, if you want to be considered Irish you can, it's not like the UK are treating you like shit, they're treating you better probably than the Irish gov can
also if we get a united ireland where will all the irish go shopping
