I think we will reach this amount easily, and I know even those who cant give will still be remembering Roy. I am reading through his posts slowly

Any chance any of the mods could make this it's own thread on the main page as I'm sure that would increase donations, if people are like me they do seem to miss stickies, just an idea.

The Liverpool Echo have called and are going to publish a tribute to Ray. I spoke to Ray's wife and she is happy for them to do so.

I have said the best way to do it would be to post a thread on here so everyone can contribute, and they can then take the bits they wish to use.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I posted this in the other thread but wanted to post it again:

Ray really helped during the Cohen Boycott tackling the lies of Cohen and especially posts by Mark Sawyer on various websites. Ray did his own thing and asked for some information from our side to help in his own way.

We had talked of getting together, he and I, but our schedules didn't work out last season when I was over. I wanted to thank him personally even though I had done it by PM.

Ray was humble throughout and thought nothing of it. But his work allowed us to spend more time and energy in other areas. Something that was greatly appreciated by those working on the boycott on this side of the pond.

I hope this gets back to his wife and family. I bet they wouldn't be surprised when it came to Justice for the 96, Ray got stuck in.

Thanks again Ray, even though you won't read this.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Ray truly Never Walked Alone.

RIP

And if The Echo reads this..that was the Steven Cohen Boycott.

Just want to say thanks to everybody from Rays family for the support Rays chosen charity has had. The total stands at £1600 which is a fantastic amount of money to raise, and exceeded everyone's expectations. I'll leave the page open for a while longer as Camilea from the Paris supporters club is kindly organising an evening to raise money.

Thanks again.
