The INSIDE video has some nice shots of the away end, including the red inflatable 7-0.  :D

Enjoy.

Brilliant effort from our fans today. It was a joy to hear. Ye drowned out any Palace songs and made it sound like Anfield in the good old days. Well done all involved.

Bu.. but the Palace 'Ultras'.  ::)

I had a Palace fan online the other day saying how Anfield has a dead atmosphere while their fans are supposedly fantastic and sing all the time.

Well done to the travelling Reds.

Barely heard a peep out of the Palace fans second half.

Barely a peep out of them after the 9th minute after jota scored.

Contrived forced atmosphere.

Convinced we've told Palace that every ticket is a blag ticket or the holder is trying to blag them - the amount of checks, second checks, third checks is comical really, for such a little club.

yes that did seem a bit over the top, even when coming back in for the 2nd half they were still at it!

Sloshed on 2.9% lager. What is our end coming to.

Ourselves aside, that is what a match experience should be like and how fans should be treated, not as cattle.

Germany proving again it’s the best place to watch and experience football.

Mad respect to the fan who probably paid for his entire trip by collecting used drink containers after the game. Think someone said he got 170 Euros from them.

171 cups @ €1.20 each, he did very well! Did similar in Prague after he lost his phone which helped him pay for the trip. He’s a good lad despite getting dogs abuse on Twitter by those that are offended 🙄

Yeah it was bang on as per usual. Comfortably the best country to watch football in, puts numerous other countries to shame.

Great to hear Germany is still brilliant for watching the reds. Only done three and they were all fantastic. Barely remember any policing at all. Leverkusen the locals just wanted us to join them in getting drunk in the beer tents outside the ground. What a cracking place!

In the main I support as a fan, what the FSA and this supposed government over arching football governance body are striving to achieve - but if you truly go, and I mean truly go home and away, you’ll know the ticket prices are absolutely not, the biggest issue - the price of transport and accommodation and the inflated prices that ensue, are the biggest drain on a home and away fans pocket and spirit.

Hows this new regulatory body going to deal with the likes of an EasyJet, Ryanair, premier Inn, Best Western et al?

Looked a top end. Had the sound down mostly because of Neville and the constant Arsenal whinging at every decision. Could see the away end was well up for it.

I haven't paid much attention to the regulator stuff, but AFAI they're not charged with making the game easier on fans' wallets are they?

edit:  no they're not, at all ....

The IFR will have 3 primary objectives. They are:

Club financial soundness - to protect and promote financial sustainability of individual clubs, ensuring that clubs take sensible financial decisions and consider the long-term when taking risks

Systemic financial resilience - to protect and promote the financial resilience of English football as a whole, ensuring that systemic risks and structural issues like the distribution of revenue through the pyramid are managed appropriately

Heritage - to safeguard the traditional features of English football that matter most to the fans and local communities of clubs

So nothing much bar heritage, that heritage being?…. Over policing, being treated like cattle, aggressive ejection from football matches, empowering private security companies to police away ends with strong arm tactics and polices constriction of civil liberties - the list goes on.

You have to experience this on almost a weekly basis to know it, and work around it. Not all away ends ate like this and not all police officers are like this - but make no mistakes, your above 3 points are to preserve the cash cow and not make it focused on those who truly are the heartbeat of football, the match going fan.

Think there were issues with trains to ground too. We got there early but loads of seats empty by us.

Some young lad about 8/9 jumped the barrier when Gakpo got the second and their steward was a jobsworth and did he wasn’t allowed back in and his Dad was arguing saying he was silly, etc. Luckily, it didn’t cause a scene.

Brighton train station was fucking horrific last night, I got there about an 75/80 minutes before kick off and missed the first 10 minutes. There were still loads behind as well and we were getting absolutely no information at all from police or station staff. The train I was on that left about 10 minutes before kick off delayed boarding for so long that when the train doors eventually lit up people pushed the barriers over and caused a stampede towards the train. They're lucky no one was hurt.

It’s really dangerous going both ways and I called this out last season.

The queue after the game is a disaster waiting to happen as it’s on an incline and only needs a few people at the back to push to cause huge issues.

For everything that’s good about Brighton, the ground is a fucker to get too and from!

It’s really dangerous going both ways and I called this out last season.

The queue after the game is a disaster waiting to happen as it’s on an incline and only needs a few people at the back to push to cause huge issues.

For everything that’s good about Brighton, the ground is a fucker to get too and from!

The park and ride on the other hand is so well organised.

I was in a massive queue for it after full time and they had me on a bus within about 10 minutes.

Assume that’s the difference between a  system run by the club and trains etc run by private operators who don’t give a fuck. The whole train system in this country is ridiculous really, id have gone by train last night if it was possible but absolutely no chance, they always push people to use public transport for emissions etc but then make no effort to provide services for events such as football matches beyond the usual train times.

The Mill Road one?

A lot of my mates are season ticket holders there and go early / come back late for home matches but not every one can do that.
