Yep, I've felt the same mate, then making myself understand a point is decent considering we'd been a shambles in the first half.
I've viewed the recycle bin of the posts deleted since the game, fucking hell mate you'd feel even worse. I don't know what's wrong with people.
The only thing I'll say about Kelleher is chin up lad and keep up the great work.
Also, I've been more frustrated with Nunez before that game.
It's not ideal having to face the Ev at the weekend, particularly with the players absent, but fucking hell a win there would be a tonic for us all.
Will be good if we can get one past them.
Be watching it with the missus at home - we both normally go there, but not this season
Wish me luck!
Didn't quite mean to kick off as much as I did when I finally got home the other day, but I'd seen a cracking game of football with the usual, fully expected two-tier refereeing from the shitehouse PGMOL, expecting to see people happy that we didn't lose, that we clawed the game back and kept fighting and even had a chance to win. Their last goal was one of those - 99.9% of the time the keeper would have been fine, great finish and poor defending let him in. But shit happens.
So I expected to see disappointed people that were enthused by our fighting spirit and how close we got to another great win, but ended up reading pages slagging our manager off, our players off, how we need to spend big and posts not even mentioning the injuries and the fatigue we must be facing against a Newcastle side that really upped their game.
There were, of course, the usual steady and informed and reasonable posters still around and posting good sense and a good overview - plenty of those, but it's annoying when after such an amazing, incredible start to the season that a little bit of slack can't be given to appreciate how well we've done so far.
We've done fucking amazing. This is our best start in our entire clubs history isn't it?
Top of the league. Top of the champions league. I mean. Fucking hell. That's amazing from a new manager.
